Mid-Engine Classic Mustang Has Odyssey V6 Inside

Good Old Classic With a Twist
The classic Mustang has been rebuilt with an Odyssey's V6 engine and has the front clip from a 2004 6-speed V6 Accord. The classic Mustang's chassis is being intertwined with a newer and lighter engine for the purpose of a fun track car.
Merging the two platforms
The Honda Odyssey minivan engine has been removed and inserted into the old-school Mustang to create a more stout pony car. It is not as expensive than most, but rebuilding any car can be a crazy chore. If you are the right kind of maniac or just a glutton for punishment then the job could be one you want to see through. There could be problems if you make a race car, like fires or a part breaking under punishment, etc, etc and the list goes on, and on.
Definitely not what Henry Ford had in mind
The engine exchange made this "new" model into a faster full-throttle car. This mid-engine Mustang now has the subframe as well as the suspension from a 2004 Accord but not the engine. The reason the owner picked the Odyssey minivan's powerplant over the Accord is that the van's version has an output of 240horsepower and is a lot cheaper.
Updating the power
The aim of the build was to put together a "weird" lemons car with a hidden surprise powering the vehicle. The rear axle is behind the engine and the Mustang now has a 65/35 weight distribution to boot. The trunk has been almost skinned and almost none of that weight is behind the axle.
Would you drive it?
You do not want to break the bank building a car as the owner of the Mustang says "It was a 1000 dollar rolling shell 6 cylinder coupe." Like most cars that are race cars, project builds can potentially cost a fortune. However, we now know how this old school coupe got turned into a mid-engine lemons race car.
