It's Summer Again and Time for the Modest Car Show

Grilling and Cruising

Ah, summer. The time for grilling, cutting the grass in our white dad shoes, and hitting up car shows every weekend. And if you live in the Minneapolis St. Paul area, you were probably checking out the much-loved Modest Car Show that takes place there each summer. 

Highly Anticipated

We personally couldn't make it, but thankfully Super Street was there to capture all the sweet rides in attendance. Amazingly enough, 2019 marked just the second year for this event, but it's already become one of the more highly-anticipated shows in town.

Sorely Needed

Judging by the quality of rides that rolled into this year's Modest show, it's easy to see why. Couple that with a short warm-weather season in Minnesota and a rabid import scene, and something like this was just dying to happen.

Best of the Best

But there is much more that goes into making Modest great. Starting with a strict screening process that ensures only the best of the best cars make it to the stage.

Pushing Hard

In fact, a mere 100 vehicle limit keeps Modest a very exclusive event. And it pushes those on the brink of making it continue to take their builds to the next level.

Nice Mix

Regardless, the cars on display this year were rather diverse, running the course from old to new and JDM to Euro. There's no real defined style here, just a nice mix of pretty much everything.

Perfect Formula

The backdrop for the Modest Car Show is equally cool - downtown St. Paul, next to the Mississippi River at the Union Depot train station. So far, the formula here is working great, so we can't wait to see how things pan out in year three!
