Eibach Midwest Honda Meet 2019 Was Full of Great Builds

After sticking with the state of California for years, Eibach's decision to host a Honda event in the Midwest is truly paying off.

Moving West, er East

Up until 2017, the Eibach Meet took place solely in California. But then, organizers decided to try their hand in the Midwest. They landed on the appropriate host site of Honda's Heritage Center in Marysville, Ohio, and the resulting crowd that showed up only helped justify their decision.

Gathering Spot

Of course, it isn't just Ohio residents that roll in for the exciting event. Plenty of folks from all over the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast show up for this celebration of all things Honda. And in case you were wondering, the builds that rolled in are every bit as top-notch as the ones we've seen at Eibach's Cali meets. That much was evident from Super Street's coverage of the event.

Visually Pleasing

That means not just your typical high dollar builds, but also ones that feature incredible attention to detail. After all, anybody can throw money at a car. But it takes a grand vision and careful planning to build something that really catches the eye of today's car enthusiast.

Mugen Everything

That vast array included a showing from King Motorsports, the only authorized Mugen distributor in the United States. They brought along their FK8 Civic Type R to show off, which has been fitted with their entire catalog of Mugen goods, inside and out.

Early Finds

There were also several first-gen Civics on hand, which is something you don't see every day. That included a beautiful deep blue example sporting a real-deal Mugen widebody kit and CF48 wheels. Other goodies included Recaro two-tone buckets, a Mugen steering wheel, and a super rare Mugen-built B16B under the hood.

Acura Represent

Plenty of Acuras were on scene as well, including a very tasteful Integra. Notable features on this clean sedan included a C-West bumper, Mugen skirts, bright green CE28 wheels, Stoptech brakes, and a very cleanly executed K-swap.

Scratching the Surface

Other notable rides we spotted at Eibach's Midwest extravaganza include several NSXs, a Euro Accord Type R, a turbo RHD CR-X, and a built 3rd gen Acura TL, to name a few. And that was just scratching the surface.

Proper Sleeper

Perhaps our favorite car, aside from the many S2000s on display, was this wild Honda Insight. Which might sound strange, but this car is all about what's under the hood. And that's a supercharged K-Series engine, which makes this former EV a proper sleeper.
