The business end

Matt Hamilton is a Honda guy through and through and when he bought his 2003 AP1 wanted to steer things in the Evasive Motorsports direction. On the journey he has taken with this car Matt knew that the best way to go is the quality parts route for best fit and performance. The front end of this vehicle has a rather aggressive bumper made by Voltex. It has large openings to allow for better engine cooling. Just imagine this thing pulling up behind you in the track. You might freak out just a little bit and maybe even gasp as you catch a glimpse of the tall carbon-fiber racing wing.

Mix & Match

It is very common nowadays to see project cars donning parts from other years and marks of the same manufacturer. But, it's not very common to see parts fitted to a vehicle that was meant for a completely different vehicle. The key thing that matters here is whether it looks good and doubles up in function. That's what we have here with a rear diffuser meant for a Nissan S15 that fit snuggly to the chassis of this S2000.

Nuts & Bolts

The standard 2.0-liter motor on these vehicles come quite robust already. However, enthusiasts know that this is just going to make the end result of the overhaul a total blast. Often when you're tuning your motor for the show and/or go, there will come the need to toss parts and components that only restrict the motor from breathing freely. While at the same time, you're tasked with putting it all back together and making it look and function great down to every single bolt, clamp, and hose. The result is a well-sorted engine bay which leaves onlookers in awe and inspiration.

Safety & Style

A true project car whether for show and or go, is never complete without proper supporting safety modifications. These include roll cages in various forms, racing seats ready to accept racing harnesses, bigger brakes and rotors, etc. This S2000 will let you see that safety was a priority and a concern while keeping it tasteful with the Royal Blue Cusco cage.

Dancing shoes

They say "wheels make the car" and Matt has done the searching to make sure that the ones he picked out would complement his car. In the case of this S2000, they couldn't be more right. Volk Racing is a staple in the name of automotive racing wheels. The finish on these wheels is a custom "galaxy" theme. The color compliments the car's paint as well as lends visibility to the Rotora calipers and the vented rotors. All this is snuggly stuffed under the chassis of this beauty thanks to Tien Circuit Master RA coilovers.
