TAS 2021 Fit e:HEV Crosstar & N-Van "3rd Place"
The Tokyo Auto Salon is just a few days away and Honda has revealed a couple of their builds. Enjoy this sneak peek of what to look forward to at the show.
Tokyo Auto Salon
The Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS) brings together the best of Japanese car culture every year. For the American audience, TAS is the Japanese equivalent of the SEMA Show. Builders and OEMs alike always being out their coolest and craziest concepts to the TAS. This year, of course, due to the restrictions caused by the global pandemic, the show could not be held as an in-person event.
Tiny Car With a Rugged Look
The concept doesn't go too far off track from the original car. The 2022 Fit e:HEV Crosstar Custom retains most of the proportional elements of the base vehicle. But Honda is presenting it with a much beefier look. A higher ride height, off-road tires, black steel wheels, more rugged plastic fender arches, heavy-duty roof rails, and a modified front fascia all add to the rugged look of the concept.

Miniature Cafe on Wheels
And the other build the manufacturer has unveiled is what they're calling the N-Van Custom "3rd Place". This tiny van has been converted into a cute mobile cafe. More than anything, this build shows off the spatial efficiency and versatility of the Kei car. The little striped awning, the brushed steel look, and the little black wheels all give this thing a ton of character.
