Default In the 11's again

A few of us drove down to the 1/4 to make some passes tonight. It was pretty warm and 100% humidity so I didn't expect much. Only got 3 runs in being the track was packed, this was my last run..

60ft: 1.71
1/8th: 7.6
MPH: 90.8
1/4: 11.95
MPH 112.94

First run was at 8psi ran a 12.2, second at 9psi ran 12.0, then the last run was at 10psi.

Still with a bone stock B16 with bolt on turbo. Stock clutch, original stock axles, injectors, fmu, driven 130 miles to the track (and back home wohoo!)

do you get the "no way thats a B16" a lot ?

my friend got it in his EG hatch, i'm getting it in my EF.

i'm not that fast..... but for a STOCK B16 to hit 8s in the 1/8th mile really wakes people up.

It was funny actually, me and my friend would sit in the lanes for about a hour till we get to run and people would come by and ask what we run. I would say "high 11's" and they would laugh and walk off thinking "this guy is full of ****". The few people that even asked what I had in it still didn't believe it was a stock motor. Oh well

Those are real impressive numbers for a b16 running low boost.

Yep, i'm using 22x8 M&H's on Lensos. They are a little small and require a shift to 5th a second before the finish but they hook good off the line.

your car is definitely no joke, have you ever thought about running 24.5's on it?

I'm afraid i'll start breaking stuff once I move up to 24's. I already have a set waiting when I make more power but for now the 22's are working alright

for some reason, i dont believe this.

11-12 sec on a stock everything 8psi, and slicks.-and on a FMU on top of it all... notice there are no pictures or a video. if i went to a track knowing i was gonna see the 12's i would for sure take at least a camera. who the hell wouldnt?

and dont say, well this is usuall for me to drive to the track, run 11.95 and drive home. it might be, but lets see a picture or a video to prove this.

stock B16, 8psi, FMU, stock clutch, slicks... and 11.95.

the bull **** flag has been raised.

this does not happen.
