the Forrester intake manifold is popular with the DSM crowd, alot of DSM's in my area run it.

I have also seen the Magnus manifold in person

I know there are others out there made by BJ's, Venom, Buschur, and I think Dejon Tool. I have never seen those in person though.

I saw in a recent test that the magnus manifold made 43hp over stock, this was with a 20g though

Magnus is hella nice.........Forrester manifold is WAY to much foogin $$$ its like around 1k for just the manifold..... Magnus is like 600 and it is hella nice BJ's is pretty fookin tight ......Been thinking about possibly just welding up my own and seeing how it goes....im only on the 16g right now but prolly going to move to 20g and some better cams.

I'm pretty sure the Forrester manifold is only around $570 with a 1G throttle body flange or the SVT Mustang throttle body flange. Forrester is here in IL too.
Instead of the intake manifold.......I think you will get more gains out of a larger turbo (I would go with a 50 tirm or larger T3 over the 20g) and HKS 262int/272exh cams (or HKS 272/272 if you going all out). The Comp Cams are supposed to be pretty decent as well, worth checking out.

What have you done so far besides the 16g? Intercooler, trans, clutch, injectors, ect?

HKS intercooler.......all hard piping

3000lb pressure plate

SAFC2 and Datalogger, 450cc injectors still but those will be good for a little while longer

wally 255 with rewire done

In the process of changing to stainless steel briaded fuel lines and aeromotive FPR

SS clutch line all new hydraulics for clutch system

Free mods of course

2.5 exhaust turbo back

Konig AGX and gold line springs

Fluidyne radiator

The 20g is a good streetable turbo though for a good price......I am looking into a t3t4 just depends on pricing and what not....I may have a decent t3t4 lined up but then gotta change manifold and wastegate but I am willing to do that just was hoping not right now.

And yes cams and bigger turbo would be a little more beneficial i was just participating in the fab section cuz I really like the idea. But I will be getting all of it reguardless just over the next month or two.

HKS cams are my choice btw

I have all the pieces to make a 1G 4G63T Intake mani, I had them all CNC'd out of alum. The runners are a bit small, but should still make great power as the plenum is huge. I sold my Talon so I never finished it. The Magnus manifold is nice, and Marco is a cool guy if you're on his good side. There is no denying the success Marco has had and his stuff is top notch, I tried making my own to save some cash, it's too bad I never put it together.

Wilson Manifolds makes some super nice stuff as that is what most of the NHRA Pro Stock racers use well atleast Greg Anderson. They are also really expensive but I guess you get what you pay for?

They are custom made, so they can. Expect to spend big time $$$ though.

Here are some pics of the Magnus 1G Talon intake as well as a few Evo VII manifolds. The pic's are taken at Magnus where I work making the manifolds. Here is the Tuesday stack not done yet still need the finishing touches.

This is a pic of a Evo VIII before its last BLING on the polisher.

I have been bugging Marco to make a Honda B Series but he is a hardcore Talon/Rotary guy. Let me know if you guys think it would sell in the Honda market then I can push him to make the prototype!!! Judging by the gains with the Talon it will be great for the B Series!!

the manifold pictures I posted is HKS... just recently released in Japan.

few years about Talon digest was the best source for info. what are the good info sources now days? so there are several better known hardcore players for 4g63 that i can see briefly looking around, magnus, extreme, buschur. who else is there?
