Integra Center Console and Arm Rest into a 5th Gen Hatch?
I've searched and had mixed results as to the success of this particular swap. Does anyone actually have a picture of the end result? I love the Integra Console/Arm Rest combo but i don't want to scour junkyards and buy one just to find that it is Ill fitting or goofy looking.
Thanks in advance.

haha... that would be cool...
I'm not quite up for it though :-D
in regards to the integra console/civic dash... i'm looking at it and the integra console looks way too short.
I would imagine there would be gap between the top of the console where it would mate up w/ the exisiting civic dash.

I remember reading there will be a gap with the integra center and the EH dash. I also remember reading that the 96-00 center will sit up flush against the EH lower console. Don't know how it would look though, can't remember seeing any pictures of this set-up.

96-00 Console/Armrest setup would be fine too... i like the cup holders.
the Cupholders w/ the 5G sux.

i am currently doin this.. its a pain.. ther is a gap big enough for 2 din locations.. biggest prob is the sides need to be cut from the teg dash so u can bring it up to the same height as the EH...
if i was to do it all over again.. i would have just tried the EK center.. cuz that fits much better.. but less din locations..
or just get the audio console if u dont really care about ur cupholders..

That's a good idea though... cutting the slack from the Integra to mold onto the existing Civic dash.
So the 6th Gen Civic Console lines up a lot better? about how much gap would there be? would anyone happen to have a picture?

I got the audio console and to somewhat remedy the problem of no cup holders I bought the arm rest as well because it has 1 cup holder inside it. So if I have a drink my drink can sit in there but the passengers have to hold there own .

Re: Integra Center Console and Arm Rest into a 5th Gen Hatch? (TouringAccord)
Sorry to bring the thread back. But i actually started attempting this myself today. Instead of using an Integra console i used a 96-00 Civic Console and Arm Rest.
I bought some small L brackets from home depot and some self tapping screws and secured the arm rest in place. then the console metal brackets wedge around the metal from the dash.
I had to remove the auto gear display thingie so that it would fit flush with the floor. The auto thingie for 5g civics is longer and skinnier than 96-00.
Instead of cutting up the existing factory piece to fill in the gap i used a piece of plexi glass. i planned on painting it black to match the rest of the interior. but i'm toying w/ the idea of leaving it clear now... maybe smoke it? i don't like how you can see behind it so much. but you have to bend your head over to get a real good look... i dunno
anyway let me know what you think.
PS>
What should i put in my new found DIN Slot?

Any Ideas about what to put in the empty Din slot? I'd like some type of cubby hole type thing? Don't Accords have something like that?
