Edelbrock asked me to make that up a long time ago since AEM didn't have install procedures on the modeled CAI they made for the Edelbrock IM.
I had it lying around so I figured, what the hell.

Re: FAQ: AEM CAI install (pic intensive)
I am having a lot of trouble with this install on a 99 DX hatch; I have been searching for an hour and this is the only thread I can find, which of course is old and useless without pics. Can anyone help??
Issue: Lower pipe and filter need to route over the engine mount and behind cross member to tuck in behind the bumper. The upper and lower pipes BARELY couple together, the lower pipe is actually TOUCHING the crossmember. When I try to reassemble the splash guards, the 90 degree bend is in the way so I can't get them back together. Trying to adjust to get CAI to fit causes the the pipes to uncouple. Very frustrating!!!
Thanks in advance.

Difficult, when you can't start new threads because you haven't posted enough. See, I am new to the forums and there are rules here about what you can and can't do as a newbie. And until the forum catches up, I can't start new threads.
Now, do you have anything helpful to say or...?
Thanks.

You can talk to a mod about your issues, forum rules change and I don't care to keep up with it. You can also blame the trolls who create fake accts which force mods to make changes to rules.

So funny that this guy is able to start a thread with only 3 posts

Must be hard as **** to buy the proper aftermarket intake for your specific civic. Must be even harder to NOT list the specific intake you bought.

Must be difficult to be so significantly superior to all those around you. How DO you do it?
I just was looking for some help on a CAI install, not a bunch of BS and condescension. Some community you got yourself here.
Enjoy.
