Turboedit / datalogging / palm question
Im going to be running turboedit as soon as i get my ecu back.. its also having a rs232 installed. i was wondering if the palm ecucontrol program is compatible with turboedit's datalogging output feature.. and if so, does anyone have any experience connecting them? I have the ecucontrol program installed on my Sony Clie PEG-S320.. it came with a usb cable.. could i just use a usb -> rs232 connector? i appreciate any help in advance! heres a shotty pic of ecu control on the palm... looks neat

Looks like a PGM-FI question to me.
But it seems sensible that if it installs...and connects...that it should read.
Maybe in the ECUcontrol FAQ? And otherwise check the PGM-FI phorum.

i got Ecu control on my laptop
i put serial conector to my ecu at CN3
and got the nokia cable to USB all wired right
on PM6 i beleive is not supported yet by ECU control
i tried and only get 1 second of info and thats it, i cant get a constant signal
dont know whats wrong, but the ecu control main page states that the PM6 ecu itsnt yet supported and that ecu control v.5 will, not the v.4
wich sucks......
anyways good luck... looks sweet on the palm

it comes down to ever changing code, lack of extra personal time in the coder's lives, lack of coder's and actually still learning what the stock code is doing.
those of us who cant code, just have to wait and be happy with the progress they have made
To Jason Parker and all of the PGMFI coders for TurboEdit

Nah... the palm pilot.
I know... not a WHOLE LOT of money, but I would only use it for communicating with the ECU so I can't justify buying one.

i got a palm IIIc (color and backlit) and connecting cable for less than $100 shipped ebay a year ago. great investment for wideband and datalogging.

its so much cheaper to go turboedit.. i couldnt imagine spending that much money for hondata! especially since both essentially do the same thing
