Re: OBX LSD? (PrecisionH23a)
PrecisionH23a, I think the poster of those pics was referring to a KAZZ lsd not the OBX one.
But I do agree with your statment "You gotta PAY to play"

Re: OBX LSD? (turbozxi)
can it be worse than not having an lsd of some kind, I mean... if it function like its suppose to... would'nt that be better than stock diff? also the ad mention that the unit is 11 lbs. so I asked eddyboy to weight his quaife lsd out and see if its the same...that would give us some idea of the material that obx use cuz the quaife's are pretty heavy. SO.....eddyboy or someone on here... weight that **** out and lets us know.

Re: OBX LSD? (95GSRTT)
OBX is turning into the Rota of performance mods....they have cams that are identical to skunks, a turbo kit that is put together exactly like the greddy kit, LSD just like quaife .......the list go's on and on....personally i dont know if i would trust OBX Performance parts....

blah! just be patient and get a quality piece. save your lunch money kids and get something you know that works......if you were going to buy a quaife would you have asked this sort of question? We're not made of money blah blah blah......no but you sure can save money and get something you'll never worry about in a couple more months!

Re: OBX LSD? (R...)
Well....I emailed the guy on ebay who is selling this obx lsd unit, and he said that the unit was made in japan and obx slap their name on it and it got here about 3 to 4 weeks ago. He also said that the one pictured on his auction is an LS version..they did not take a picture of the d-series version because the units looks very close to each other, but he did give me a link to another ebay seller who is selling the same lsd(d-series)...click on the link to see the pic.

Re: OBX LSD? (D-booster)
You know the saying..." IF it sounds too good to be true, It probably is.."
On a side note:
I've gone through two aftermarket Short shifters that snapped on me just under the handle.. THey were made out of aluminum and were probably priced pretty cheaply too.. I'll jsut stick w/ the stock shifters now..
Now imaging going w/ one of those OBX units and having it fail on you at the most important and unexpected moments ... That would suck!!.. Do it right and go what has been proven and has a life-time garuntee..

Do more than just pull it apart, gotta measure it, compare alloys used, temper.

Apologies, I'm sometimes too literal minded.

Slim to none, you drama queen. Diff failure won't lead to more than a few thousand shards in the worst case scenario.
