H22A1 SMSP header dyno...
Setup:
apexi intake
2.5" straight piping to a Greddy SP catback(2.36")
SMSP mild NA header
Hondata S100 on a P28
No PS or AC
Fidanza flywheel
Exedy organic clutch
JDM 15" ITR wheels
194 whp/150 trq Stoney tuned at VSV
I've previously dyno 168 whp at a dyno in Minneapolis, and I baselined 181 whp/150 trq on VSV's dyno with just an fpr for tuning.
I'll see if I can find someone with a scanner to get the graph up here, but everything is nice and smooth. You can't even find VTEC unless you look at the AF plot.

Re: (Shakes)
194-168= 26 whp
The 181 whp run had a horrible AF curve that dipped into the 10s at some places. Yes, I am happy that I gained 26 whp from a header, tuning, and pulling some misc. parts off the car.

that isnt accurate though. if the car was properly tuned before the header install im sure you would have seen more then the 181whp run. you dont tune a car and see the whp drop by giving it the right ammount of fuel and air.
i know money dictates all. i just wish that somebody would have a properly working, tuned car BEFORE the header.

Thanks man.
The only problem is that when I was at VSV, they were talking about the 350 whp and 480 whp street cars that are coming out of there. That brought me back to reality real quick.
Maybe somebody has a measly $7999 laying around and wants a quick commuter car. I wouldn't mind building an H22 hatch and petitioning Dave for another header.
Edit: No pics, Waffles forgot and I forgot to remind him.

Re: (H22EKHATCH)
awesome
that's what i was hoping for with mine. I put a new clutch in this a weekend so hopefully i'll be posting some numbers up soon.
I'll post pics up later if dave doesn't mind. i know they were already posted, then taken down.

actually, I've been running without an A/C belt and P/S in my 4th gen prelude for about 1 1/2 years now. but of course I don't live in a place with high humidity and crazy hot summers. turns are pretty easy when you get the car moving. Awesome numbers by the way. now get it to the tracks!

I'd be happy to do that for you. Now here's what it will cost you to get me to do this thing that you ask:
-$100 for gas to Dallas TX from AR
-$20 for tolls(yes, I'm serious)
-$30 for food
-$200 for me to reinstall the AC and PS pumps and take them off after the dyno pull
-$50 for beer to drink while installing that useless ****
-$150/hr for dyno time
-$.30/mile that I have to drive. It's about a 700-800 mile round trip, so roughly $250.
It's only a measly $800.
SKDRCR: I pulled the nitrous kit awhile back.

You look a tad lean just before VTEC but other than that, that torque line is niiiiccceee. Mine w/ the Mugen torque line tapers off much MUCH more drasticly after 6500 rpm. Good stuff!
