i know you dont like OBX... BUT... look at this
since i have a k20a3 i dont have as many choices as you b-series guys do. i looked everywhere and found 4 manifolds. cybernation, sfp, revhard and this OBX thing that came to mind. i was searching ebay and found this manifold. i might get flamed for this but what the hell... the welds look decent and the design doesn't look that bad.
should i give it a shot or save up and get something better?????????
btw this manifold is supposed to be tig welded, Flange area features support brackets while initial welds have been double welded. Item comes with a new gasket for the head

I think the reason everyone hates these manifolds is not because of the welds, or the design, but it's the cheap *** metal they use to make them with.

It's the welds that crack also. They use the cheapest ****, and with all the vibration and the weight of a big turbo the manifolds can't support it so they break.

I'd with hold judgement on how the unit looked until I saw how the wastegate exit looked... I'm thinking of the B-series manifold wastegate exit when I say that *shudder*
As for performing like ***, can you give me details? I would be fairly confident that it is a decent low buck manifold that is fairly reliable if you're smart enough to support the wastegate and turbo with braces. Thin walled manifolds are just that - manifolds. They are not structural supports.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to state: **** Cybernation. Every flange is warped, the manifold is made out of cheap mild steel schedule 40 pipe that will rust in short order for top dollar price, and the wastegate exit is retarded... the direct the exhaust flow down into the collector and expect it to be able to do a 180 degree reversal when the wastegate opens... it makes the SSAC B-series wastegate exit look like it was designed by a rocket scientist While I'm bashing Cybernation, let me mention they run an AFC hack; the black box is just a dodge to alter the AFC settings so it doesn't "look" like an AFC hack.

peformance = numbers...im sure it will perform fine..
honestly they crack, teh metal is thin. Fab some brackets to support the turbo off the block so there is no weight on the manifold. it won't crack. i spent about $20 bux on making some brackets on my SSautochrome.

sfp makes good manifolds. You can try that obx one out but if it cracks you wasted your money. spending money twice on the same thing

I dont have any personal experiance with SFP, but I hear good things, and I have seen the guy that makes them, he is a machine.

Since your in Fl anyways why not contact SFP, their work is top notch Or you could go the super duper baller route and see if you can get your hands on this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=863910 I believe the manifold is made by Hytech (but don't quote me on that).

Re: i know you dont like OBX... BUT... look at this (Silverskylinegirl)
I had bought one of those off ebay for $300 bucks with 35mm wastegate, thought it looked okay. When I recieved it, I saw how cheap it looked/felt and the wastegate was a knock off. Since then I bought one off toyosupr (h-t member) and an expecting it this week. Most of those pictures in that thread are prob of mine. Anways, they are much better quality and he offered to fix it incase something ever did happen, not to mention it was just over $500 . I give him a

Nope, the manifold was not made by Hytech. It was made in-house at AEM (well, the collector was made at DC Sports). Unfortunately, it is a one-off piece and is not availabe to the public. Don't worry, it's not that nice. Now the intercooler mounting brackets, those are NICE.

i already talked to scot from sfp and he told me their manifold is 500, lee at cybernation told me 699 for theirs (**** that) and rev hard $500. OBX GETS MY VOTE LOL 210 or something like that, but i knew there was something funky behind that price, so that's why i asked you guys.
looking at those pictures i thought that they had changed their materials and designs so the posibility of getting it was there. but seems like they are still making them with the same shitty materials
<<--- damian: who needs a manifold and downpipe so bad !!
