Honda Short Blocks built to take 700 HP
After receiving your block, the process begins with hot tanking, squaring and surfacing the block, Benson Machine sleeves installed with a .003" stepped deck, Benson bored and honed cylinders, Benson balanced and micropolished crank, CP Pistons (the most accurate pistons made) and rings, Eagle Rods, ACL bearings, new OEM oil pump, new water pump and lower gasket set. Includes blueprinting (you get all the specs, nothing secret) and assembly. You must supply the block and crank core plus all necessary bolts. Allow about 4 weeks from receipt of core for delivery of the completed block.
Price for all of the above including return shipping is $3075. This price is for all B, D and H series blocks. Add $375 if you would like to have Pauter Rods rather than Eagle.

Any questions on a build, IM Ninesecrx

That's an awesome deal, especially with it being assembled and ready to run out the box!
How long would this deal be going on? (please say forever...)

The blocks work just as well at 300whp also.

How much is assembly if I brought you the rods and pistons, and misc. parts after I get a b18a1 benson sleeved to 84mm and do your sleeves come in different thickness?

Re: Honda Short Blocks built to take 700 HP (markaria)
...got my block back and in and running yesterday. Once I had everything in and let the engine turn a few times to get oil pressure, it started instantly, and purred like a little kitten! No strange noises, no unreasonable smoking, just a healthy sounding/running b18c5 (or did the 83mm now make it a b19c5? lol)
Now off to the dyno....
to benson
a big to Earl and his excellent work/turnaround time/communication
and last but not least a to art for getting my fluidamper overnighted to me in time!

Who does the actual machining and assembly work on the block? Is that price for any bore or just stock?

If anyone has some of their parts already, just IM me and I will quote you on the build.
