This is the hood that I have when somebody stole my carbon fiber hood and replaced it with this hood right here. I don't need this, and would be willing to give it away to anybody that could help me. I need somebody to find me the owner's registration information from this hood. Anybody, I don't care how you do it, just want to find out who the hell stripped my car. The car is the 97 civic ex in my sig, if anybody can help I would greatly appreciate it.

I figure its worth a try to find them, why else would I have somebody else's hood on my car. The reason I think its a pretty good chance its the thieves hood, is because the whole time it was snowing pretty hard here in Northern Virginia, it was jan 27th, that it was stolen. So I'm pretty confident they overlooked the fact that the hood had a vin. **** even the cops missed it, but then again maybe I'm foolish for hoping they would do their ******* job. Stupid pigs

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think your barking up the wrong tree with that hood, I mean if it was me I'd sure as hell try to find more about that vin number too, it's a good start but chances are that hood has also been stolen off of another civic. Probabally a left over part they didn't need. but if you find out whos it was you might be able to talk to them and see what they know. Thats one thing about honda... they put the vin number on every body part and then some from what I've seen.
