(b18c into vx) need to know where some plugs go (HELP)
Whats up! I am in the middle of my swap. Everything is going really smooth but i ran into a little problem. I am using the vx engine harness and it kind fits on the b18c a little shitty. Anyway i got everything hooked up so far and it all plugged in except i have one plug left over near the distributor it went to what looks like an egr diaprham on the vx engine. What do i do with it. Here itis.
Now also i have three plugs from the vx harness left
and i only have two sockets on the b18c motor, one right on top of the manifold
and one under the manifold near the knock sensor
Which of these three plugs goes where and what happens to the one left over. I tried to use the b18c harness as a reference, but it didnt help.
I have what looks to be a mass air flow sensor. What plugs into this and where does it get mounted it is a three prong plug.

your *** needs to search...
one of the 2 plugs is for TPS, other for MAP sensor. the connector on your IM is for secondary butterflys, your gonna have to run a wire from that to your ecu so they will open up...
search man... your NOT the 1st person to put a b18c1 into a VX

not to be a dick but do you really think i would take the time to type all of that out and put all the pictures up i found the answer in my 3 hour honda tech search. UUMMM **** NO. One plug goes to the IAT, and the other to the IACV, but i dont know where the other goes, so thank you for your help I THINK

from left to right, evap purge solenoid, intake air temp, and iacv. the plug in teh first plug is the vss. the solenoid in your hand is that map sensor, if you have the map on the throttle body dont mind the one in your hand that is on the firewall. i am assuming you have a 4 door civic, you will have to run a plug from the knock sensor to position D3. the butterflies can only be activated with a gsr ecu, and that too will need a wire run to position d17 hope this helps.
