I know this is fairly straightforward, but I put in my first short shifter yesterday. I don't have any pictures, so sorry gentelmen. I don't have a digicam. The instructions that came with the B&M shifter were vague to me, and these may not help any, but here goes.

First you need to jack the car up. After you do that put jackstands under the car so it does'nt fall on you!!

Next you need to unbolt the shift linkage. The bolt is a 14mm head, and the nut is a 12mm head. Drop the shift linkage down. I put it twoards the drivers side of the car, as the exhaust on the car I was working on did'nt let it fall on the other side.

Now you need to unbolt the 2 bolts that hold the stabilizer to the car (both 12mm heads). I had to pull off the actual rubber part that bolts the car to get to the next set of bolts, which was the only part that was difficult at all. There are 2 bolts that hold the shifter up now. Those were the most difficult for me, as the bolts were seized and getting a hold of the back of the bolt is a b!tch!! They're almost round, with 2 flatened sides, and you can't see what you're doing. You can use a 12mm wrench to hold the back of the bolts and get them off. Now the shifter should slide right out. Now you need to strip down the shifter that just came out of the car and relocate the things onto the new shifter.

Getting it back in is just a reversal of these steps. Just make sure you have the shifter facing the right direction before you bolt it back to the linkage!!

its fairly simple design. shouldnt be too hard to install. i did mine in 15 mins.
