OBD1 injector pin swap/removal-How-to
After many frustrating days with NO success. I FINALLY figured out how to get the pins out of the OBD1 injector clips. Without cutting and splicing. .
If I had a digicam, I'd post pix. But I don't, so you'll have to make due with my descriptions.
#1 You'll see a clear plastic post sticking out of the top of the rubber plug, on the wire-side of the OBD1 injector clip.
#2 Remove the black rubber plug from the back of the OBD1 injector clip.
#3 If plastic pin doesn't come out with rubber plug, pull on it gently with a pliers. It is used as a locking mechanism to hold injector wire pins inside the clips tightly and securely, so they can't be pulled out.
#4 Once the rubber plug and the clear plastic locking collar are removed the injector pins can be freed from the the clip in the usual manner, with a small flat pointed tool, inserted into the open pin side of the clip.
#5 You'll also need to remove the OBD1 injector clips rear rubber plug, as it's not compatible with the OBD0 one.(OBD1 has a hole for the locking collar tab, OBD0, does NOT) I sliced the rubber plugs open and then squeezed them over the injector wires on the OBD0 engine harness.
Hope this helps anyone who needs to change their injector clips from OBD0 to OBD1/2

sweet man, with that and my obd0-obd1 dizzy conversion harness ur gunna have one perfect wiring harness..
