*WARNING* for people buying CTR/ITR cams off ebay or anywhere besides the DEALER
Ok after some research and checking up on some OEM CTR cams.... the supposed CTR cams my friend bought for his GSR felt REALLY weak.... At first we bolted the cams in the car felt slower below 5k... and vtec didnt even kick or pull at all... at first i thought maybe it needs tuning really bad..... but to double check i switching out his cams for my friends 2001 ITR cams and there was a diffnent difference.... kinda odd.... so then i thought maybe the timing was off so we put the GSR cams in.... felt faster than the previous CTR cams.... so we dropped in the CTR cams and NOW I NOTICED A DIFFERENCE it was noticable slower.... checked the cam timing... dead on.... checked the ignition timing it was at 17.... then i got to thinking maybe it wasnt a CTR cam.... pulled it out, the two lines where NOT there, so i was like thats odd but he did buy the cam offline BRAND NEW IN THE BOX WRAPPED in the bag with the part number ON THE BOX, then i set them down next to my extra sets of b16 cams, then something odd caught my eyes.... the lobes were different colors than the stock OEM cams, i didnt really get around to thinking about it, just thought maybe NEW cams just look like that. Till i was missing with my friends SI which has skunk2 stage 1's (valve adjustment) this is were things get INTERESTING..... the CTR cam looked just like these skunk2 cams... the lobe colors, so i was getting kinda intrested in this.... and took the CTR cam to acura.... asked them if they had a acura integra type R cam in stock and luckily they did i asked them if i could see it.... sure enuff the lobe colors were different, the ITR ones being that dark greyish black color, and the ctr being bronze just like the skunk2 cams.... someone is making cams and BOOTLEGGING EVERYTHING, the box the sticker, the bag.... the whole goddamn thing. But one thing was different. The ITR cam that the dealer had was an orangish type bag. While the one from offline was a pinkish type bag. SO BUYERS BEWARE!! I WILL keep you updated. LOOK OUT FOR BUYING THESE CAMS OFF EBAY!

thanks for the heads up...i was looking into buying some off ebay till I could get some skunk2 stage 2's if I didn't have enough to buy them yet

Good looking out man.....my best friend was actually in the process of looking for these right now. He know what and what not to look for but thats an easy mistake anybody could make when they see a genuine honda box and packaging.

THATS MESSED UP!!!!
I heard about DC sports being knock off last year ,i though that was crazy .But cams....that way to much...SCAMMER DIE!!!!!
