Default PRO FAB INTAKE GASKETS

There are alot of question on why some people dont run Insulated gaskets on hi boost appl.? Take a look at these new gaskets made by PRO FAB.These gaskets will take HI HORSE POWER without leaking or melting problems. They are made out of G10 PHENOMIC.?? i think thats how you spell it?? Top fuel dragsters us these supposely?? anyone have any ideas

PRO FAB Gaskets and Hondata/AN-R gaskets

This is what happenes over a long period of time. The plastic warps and melts with fuel and heat.

I dont think anyone was aware of this situation until now.[/B] .

With these gaskets you dont need to cut, shave, clean, modify, port, drill, or any work, simply bolt on and fire up.

Please forgive the newbie question but I take it that the stock studs will no longer work (too short or something) and that is why they supply you with new bolts?

Thanks

the studs are included so it will give enough lenght for the 2 sets of washers to clear.

I'm guessing maybe G10 Phenolic maybe? As in Phenolic spacers? People have been running these forever. The idea seems to be a good one and the quality looks top notch to me.

Better then the Hondata plastic style one, which I was never personally a fan of.

you may want to clear up which one is the hondata and which one is the profab. You never distiguish which is which and you know how people like to make assumptions

You're doing an inadequate comparison, you're showing a highly used Hondata gasket that's white(will show more discoloration) vs a brand new brown gasket.

My Hondata gasket has ~58,000 miles on it, ~6 track days, ~20+ autocross days, and ~200 drag runs and doesn't look as beat up as the gasket that you posted up.

1. the pictured gasket is not an an-r gasket
2. you do not need to cut, shave, clean, modify, port, drill our gaskets, they are direct bolt on
3. our gaskets do not melt.
4. they are not poor quality ("The AN-R race gaskets fit better than the Hondata Race gaskets, so you won't need to modify them (as much - I found a port shoulder section that needed a little grinding). I don't know about the street stuff tho. I've never used those.") at almost half the price of hondatas gasket they are a bargain
