limited edition silver itr? jdm?
i'm in the market looking for a jdm itr since i've lost my car. i came across this right hand drive itr, but it's silver. the ad states it's a "limited edition" itr..i have never seen or heard of a limited edition itr before. can someone tell me if this true? or the owner probably painted the car silver? it's a 98 itr supposably
if you look at the images, you will notice the amber corner tail lights...didn't they come out all red in 98? my friends 98 usdm itr had all red tails...and the engine bay walls are silver too, so maybe the car did come silver? or they just painted it inside as well. i did do a search for this and found nothing. maybe someone can answer my question?

Yes there was a silver JDM ITR. The tails are legit because the Japanses laws do not allow for matching signals and brake lights. The turns must be that amber color by JDM law.
That looks legit to me as a limited edition car since most people dont know that Kaiser silver was an ITR color.

I think what the seller was referring to as "limited edition" was the ITR itself, as in a limited production car. There were silver 4 door ITRs not sure about the 2 doors though. I wouldn't worry yourself about the color though.

yes in jdm land they have silver itr and they have the amber corners, and i believe jdm rims are 16inch so u should be able to tell if there jdm rims

very helpful...no one i knew, knew about a silver itr...it was just the regular usdm colors

There was normal 2 door ITR's in Japan too in silver... Also there was a red and a really lime yellow bright yellow. And 2 shades of black. I've seen a blue ITR in japan too not sure if it was for real.
