Default Benson Sleeved Blocks

The Benson Signature Series sleeved blocks are the best and strongest block available. NO ONE TOUCHES YOUR BLOCK BUT DAN BENSON. There are no excuses, no dropped sleeves, no decks cut on an angle, no egg shaped bores, no wrong sizes and no problems. Tolerances are held to .0001" (That is one TEN thousandths of an inch)
The $950 plus $50 shipping price INCLUDES the final bore/hone to the perfect size for your pistons. This price also includes your choice of O-rings or stepped deck. Turn around time in his shop is 7 days or less on sleeve installations. Good on all B, D, F, H and K blocks.

Earl,

As stated in previous IMs to you I plan on pulling the my motor on Nov. 15th or
16th. Do you think I should wait till after the holidays to ship it out or ship it that
next week? Remember I'm gonna have the motor sleeved and you assemble the
bottom end with the parts I supply.

No, one ten thousandth= .0001"
one tenth of one one-thousandth= .0001"
Way tight tolerances from a master machinist.

I hate to say this but the trend is swinging back to flat decks rather than step. We have reduced the deck step down to .001" to .002"

Still interested in pros and cons of o-ring and stepped deck. Can you shed some light on the subject earl?

o-rings need to be replaced, most people don't have the skills to do that easily.
no maintenance with a step deck.
both ways just help gasket seak a little.

sorry if this question is dumb but that price includes the sleeves and the labor or just the labor?

Also does benson assemble the blocks if we sent them the parts?
