4dr -> 2/3dr front bumper conversion
when putting a 2/3dr bumper on a 4dr do you need to use the 2/3dr corner lights or do the 4dr ones fit?

Re: (dunkd)
Apparently you don't need either. There was a thread here about that a few days ago with a link to an old thread about it. I'll see if I can find it. Just need to redrill holes I believe...

Here is a closeup shot of his bumper:
Yeah, the fitment is OKAY, but would you rock it?

the corners are longer into the fender on the sedan. the sedan hood is flatter. the sedan bumper accomodates longer corners as well. everything is opp on the coupe/ hb.
id say to do it right get the whole coupe/hb bumper, hood, corner, fender package,</TD></TR></TABLE>

So you lost safety in the event of a crash and halfassed your frontend all in one fell swoop? Nice...Looks ghettorigged as ****.

Re: (161822)
i could give a crap about my bumper support its only good for under 15 mph or so, anything over that its not going to help much, that and im going to custom make anther "support" that will work just as well. Also i dont se the bumper as being half-assed as you say

Re: (AK1200)
sorry i dont mean to advertise here but im not to sure how to post just pics on this page but here it goes check it out.
My 4door eg with a 2 door front bumper. I actually spoke with the dude from cali with the white one and carbon fiber hood and he sayd he had to extend the fenders.
well... i went out on a limb and experiment with some west system epoxy (high strength boat epoxy) fiberglass and bondo. long story short I took the inner part from the 2dr bumper and molded it in too the outside of a 4 door bumper.
if anyone wants to see how i did it let me know and ill get you more pictures!

Re: (allmotorjdism)
i might swap out to a 2 door one as well. considering the 4 door one on the car has been hit twice, now cracked with a tow hitch hole. although very stylish, time for a new front.

Same here in the Philippines. No bumper support.
I guess it depends on the law. Ours did't even came with side impact beams and airbags. What a dope!

Re: (dunkd)
I remember putting a 2dr bumper on my sedan at one point and boy was it all mis-aligned.
But from the looks of these sedans, the owners did a really great job making them fit. DEFINITELY not "ghettorigged" as some of you may put it.
