New K24 dyno #'s
Thought I would keep everyone informed on how the K24 powered Si was doing. The only change since the last time I posted numbers is a Zex 65 shot.
Latest numbers:
I/H/E/b-pipe/K24
170hp and 150ft/lbs
I/H/E/b-pipe/K24/65 shot
225hp and 246ft/lbs
I will post the actual dyno's, just haven't had time to scan them in. I thought the numbers were pretty good, the torque is ridiculous right when you hit the button, but comes down after that.
Still to come in the next month (I know I said that before, but they really are coming)... custom Racing Intake Manifold, custom Cams, a bigger shot and hopefully something to deal with the computer.

Like Jack said, all Ks have iVTEC. The CRV only has vtec on the intake side, the TSX and RSX-S have vtec on both.

any race tuned TODA RSX will have vtc killers and vtec killers
making it the b18b of the k series

Whoops! For some reason I though it was your car.

Re: Re: (B18CXr)
Just to verify, It is just a straight 2002 CR-V K24 w/ stock cams, stock head, etc. That's w/ just bolt ons and a 65 shot. In stock trim with the K24 motor (stock e/h/i/everything), it put down 140. So now with the nitrous it has gained 85hp. The torque is a weird number since it jumps up when you hit the button and then drops pretty quickly after that. But you will see that when I finally dowload the graphs.
It has been to the track once w/ nitrous, but the numbers weren't very good. My fiance drove it most of the day and wasn't getting out of the whole. I got to drive it for the last three runs but could still only manage...
14.2@101
14.1@101
14.0@102
Thats w/ 2.3 60fts and not spraying until 2nd. Flavia got one pull in at 14.2 but couldn't get there again (the arming switch was kind of ghetto rigged since there wasn't enough time to mount the switch. So I finally used zip ties and tied it to the shift *** before I ran it. Probably why I was actually able to run better than her without much bottle left.)
The times sucked, but the mph was OK. Hope to make it back soon w/ a little bit of suspension work.

Re: Re: (MySiK24)
Wow, those are some pretty decent numbers on that K24. But one question why did you choose nitrous, and aren't looking at going FI? This is certainly relative to the previous B18B turbo... its going to be the next generation of that motor.
Is FI coming in the future? Props for what you're trying to do here man...

Re: Re: (Casey)
That was us!!! Slow times and all!!!
As far as why we went Nitrous??? Our goal from the beginning of this project was to try and see how this motor took to different mods and how far it could take us. So far we are very pleased with the power, but hope to get the times down to where they should be. Forced Induction is definately in the future!
Thanks for the support!
