Got my AIR/Endyn carbon fiber intake manifold *PICS*
Got my AIR/Endyn CF intake manifold in today. It's pretty sweet. Very lightweight and seems really well built. When you pick it up, it feels like a solid piece of uh... well... carbon fiber. Here's some pics I took of it:

Geesh this thing is light!
Bottom side of plenum. Hmm, where the heck am I going to mount the IAC?!?
Shot of the flange...
The diminishing cross-sectional area of the runners is evident in this shot. I guess this helps increase intake velocity as it goes from plenum to port.
Another shot of the flange. You can see the angle of the injector bungs.
AIR logo. Kinda cool how they did that.
Shot of the plenum from the inside. Not as pretty as the outside, but I guess it doesn't have to be
Took me a few tries to figure out how to set up this shot. I just cranked my Alien Bees 800w strobe up to 1/2 power and it came out ok I guess.
Throttle body flange.
Frog approved!

Nice piece..how much was it? Also if you could do a write-up of its peformance once it's on would be great. Why dont I see a flange for the iacv?

It was $1200 -- not much more than the retail on my STR sheetmetal intake. But there's supposedly going to be a price increase some time soon. I won't be able to write up a review on the actual performance until I get my new motor finished, which won't be for a while. It's still at GE, and I still need rods and turbo. And I still gotta save up for the exhaust mani...

Im assuming well find out in a couple months
Man most people cant even afford a 1,000 + exhuast manifold(fullrace) let alone the intake manifold. Nice piece

Wow that looks pretty sexy. Wish I had cash for something like that. Very nice. Hope it works like most Endyn products, which is pretty damn great.
