Went to DSR today and got my car tuned (by DSR not me)

**B18C5 (for the people that always ask dont know why but whatever)
modifications.
**Hytech header
**Hytech exhuast (with cat and resonator that came from hytech)
**Spoon Cams & Camgears. valve clearence set at (IN 0.18mm) (EX 0.20mm) thanks to Alan at A&J Racing Motorsports
**AEM cold air intake
**Apexi V-AFC controller
**FPR (wasnt touched)

Bigger Picture Of The DYNO
DYNORUN.005
was a wile back. its without the hytech header/exhaust. comptech header not the race one. and stock exhaust. and the rest of my setup posted up.
DYNORUN.006
was a base run and i think the cam gears were advanced and retarded 4. dont know what was advanced or retarded out of the intake or exhaust cam. also the v-afc controller was all at zero for wide thr and narrow thr
so what do you think?

5700rpm's
maybe the torque graph is getting in the way and thats why you are seeing a dip

Nah it's not a dip. It's just that the AEM hump makes it look like a dip.

austin might be a lil sad you are making more power just with the basic but good mods you have compared to him.
glad to hear you had a great experience with dsr

Pretty nice, I thought you'd be able to make a bit more power from 5k-6k with further VTEC engagement tuning though. But I'm sure DSR did all they could, still nice gains.

Re: got back from tuning my car at DSR, results inside (SurferX)
Seems like the Hytech style headers redce the dip aka "AEM hump" with a lower VTEC cross over. Would be interesting test. I know Austin, George Knighton and myself crossover lower than 4000 and show no dip.
Good numbers regardless with the mods. DSR seems to knwo how to tune well. Austin makes good numbers for stock cams.
