Problem with AEM FPR
I've got a 2001 GSR and I just had the AEM Fuel rail and regulator installed today. Everything was fine until it came time to put the stock strut tower back on. It wouldn't fit. The regulator is in the way. What the ****! Has anyone else had this problem? At first I thought I may have gotten the wrong one for my car but I checked their web site and there is only one model number for all integras. And to top it all off, when I go to start the car, it hesitates a good 4-5 seconds before it starts. The pressure is set at 52. What could be the problem?

Re: Problem with AEM FPR (2K1 GS-R)
i had the same prob
u have to unscrew all those little bolts and turn the top half of the FPR to the right about 1/4 turn and screw the bolts back down
the strut bar tends to crimped the vacuum line the goes to the FPR and thats where u may be getting ur hesitation

Re: Problem with AEM FPR (stick)
i second that.... i had the same problem until the damn tip of the regulator broke. aem gave me a brand new fpr. they should specify that in the manual. do like he said... unscrew all the little alen bolt and shift the little pipe to the left or right.

Re: Problem with AEM FPR (GSRacer)
Thanks for the info. I'll try that. The hesitation is not caused by the strut tower because I removed it until I get this regulator thing solved. It's getting better everytime I start the car though. Infact, it's almost back to normal.

no cams, head work or int mani? 52 is probably too high (and is that vac. off, clamped, WOT?) after you get is set right, reset ecu. when you can, dyno.

Re: Problem with AEM FPR (Go Mifune)
What PSI would be recommended for these mods: GSR head on ITR block, JDM 4-1, test pipe, Greddy Power Extreme, AEM CAI, Mugen Head Gasket, and VAFC(but not tuned with it yet).
