O.K. I finally finished (T28 Dyno numbers)
Well, I finally got the turbo installed and some rough dynoing done. The session was cut a lil short, but anyway. Some of you know what I was up to, and there will be a full writeup as soon as verizon starts working properly. The setup consists of: Skunk2IM, EF-1 L21 cams, Skunk2 cam gears, 450cc injectors, S-AFC, Chipped ECU("MAD" props to J. Davis) AEM intake, bosch BOV, HKS manifold, Nissan Pulsar GTi-R T28( .86 a/r T25 turbine housing w/ 79 trim wheel, .60 a/r T3 compressor housing w/ 60 trim copressor, "MAD" props to turbochargedSE-R) Custom divided housing turbine flange, 2.25" DP, Spark Racing FMIC... I think thats everything. All of this in a 91 CRX Si w/ a B20B swap. Well, here's the graph.
BTW, This is at 6PSI!!! MWAHAHAHA!!! DO YOUR HOMEWORK! This includes component matching/pairing and turbo sizing. Everything should work together.

Revamped spark and fuel maps under boost. Timing retard (1 degree per psi) under boost. I think that is about it... yeah 1 degree per psi...

That is gonna make some sick power at 10 psi with a more agressive tune (ie, 0.5 deg/psi).
Nice work, man.

I don't think the stock sleeves can handle .5 per pound. Nice numbers!

see i told everyone that the T28 /GT28 would be the ideal turbo for a street application ,...LOL
man i love that small turbo, yet it breaths fairly nicely in the upper rpms.

Re: O.K. I finally finished (FredoSP)
Actually, redline is 7200... I just didn't want to rev it that high... with speed correction, the dyno operator said i'd be around 215-220... The car just made more power the higher I revved it. I am going to credit the cams and the Skunk2 IM for the curves. Everything works together in harmony. The conservative amount of spark retard aids in high RPM power production with the cams. The quick spooling turbo helps with the overlap/low rpm reversion of the cams. The cams also like what I like to call "artificial compression" Meaning tat when NA, the cams would like a higher compression ratio, but the turbocharger substitutes postive pressure. The Skunk2 helps everywhere... BTW, Rocket from EF-1 knows his shizzle! I am very proud of this little turbo kit I put together, everything work homogeniously.

For reference.... lower compression ~8.8:1(?), VTEC head, GSR cams, Skunk 2
T3/T4E V-1 trim with 0.48 A/R
edit- top end pressure dropped to 5.5 psi once VTEC kicked in (no boost controller)

damn i wonder wich turbo would be more street freindly the T28 or the apexi P13 ballbearing. I love yours and gagola's dyno charts! Super and ideal for the street and enough to make the guys at the track back away from ya.

I am a little worried that they will take some of the low end torque out of my power band though.
Does anybody have experience with these cams? I've searched but never really found any concrete answer to this. I'm running 14psi and I'd like to get some more torque in the high rpms to raise the max HP.
See how my torque drops? I'd like to lessen that drop.

i'd love to have that kinda mild power in my car.

Re: O.K. I finally finished (Charlie Moua)
I've seen his charts, and I know you're a smaller (properly sized) turbo proponent. I would have to say the T28 is the way to go. Cheaper, more available, and i'm only running 6 psi... If I were running 14 psi, i would be over 300 WHP. BTW, I think I am going to sell the car, I'm done. If anyone in the northeast is interested, pls hit me up.

Re: O.K. I finally finished (JCushing)
Yeah, selling the whole enchilada. I am looking for 7K. You've seen how beautiful she is... I still love her. Cheaper meaning you can't get the apexi turbo outside of a kit, and I put my kit together for MUCH less than anything premade using all the best parts. HKS manifold, earls fittings, stainless lines, new turbo, new IC... all top shelf shizzle.
