Turbo GSR times W/ stock block
I know I'm prolly crazy for doing this but I just want to see what I can get it to run. I'm gonna boost on a bone stock GSR motor, I'm buying some 850 or 900 cc injectors for it and the AEM EMS. I just want to see if I can click a 11 with it. So I was wondering if anyone has some times from your expeirences.

lots of people have run 11's with stock blocks. using a thicker headgasket can give you a little insurance along with the fuel upgrades and race fuel i hope your already planning to use.....

Re: Turbo GSR times W/ stock block (HaTcH_BmX)
Thats awesome stOOpid ya I have alittle different setup I'm using a GSR tranny with a quiafe, and I"m puting all this in integra thats the only thing that I think is gonna hurt me right now until I get my full motor done. But I'm gonna do some lighting on it pretty soon. But ya i plan on using some 110 or 116 octane race gas, So my goal is to hit a 11.9 or under. Which I think is very doable. Thanks for the great input just keep it comin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just re-read my post.. I need to learn to punctuate.
Also I didnt list the turbo; it was a 60-1/T3. I ran 13psi on the streets after that. lots of wheelspin, lots of fun.

Thats tite, what setup are you runnning. I'm also gonna be running the T-3 60-1 in my car I have heard good things about that turbo. How does it run on the track is the spool time fast or slow, and when it hits full boost will it spin 24 inch slicks

with such low boost, wouldn't it be better to have a regular 60 trim? because with 8 psi the turbo is really out of it's efficiency area, where as a 60 trim would be a lot closer to its efficiency area.
no critcism meant, just curious why you picked a 60-1 over a straight 60 trim.

Re: Turbo GSR times W/ stock block (bretx0r)
Thats what i'm hoping for I would be satisfied with a 11.9 that would prove all I could ever want.... Awesome feedback guys I'm so excited to get my tubo and I'm gonna buy my AEM EMS prolly this week all I need is some injectors and a boost controller. Whats everyone think about the Greddy Profect B? I also heard that the came out with a SPEC II for the profect B with a digital read out I'm kinda liking that one alittle better cuaes of the digital readout. Give me some feedback on that?????

Re: Turbo GSR times W/ stock block (SiRkid)
Quiklude is a Honda-Tech user and a buddy of mine he has a 92 LUDE with a full golden eagle block and a F-max kit it blew up on the DYNO the other day he broke a piston and it went through the head and into the turbo, so I guess he is selling everything and buying a 2.2 Vtec for his car but his car made 220 wheel HP on the second dyno run on only 8 PSI. SO thats why I say R.I.P Quiklude.

Some kid out here in NJ was pullin 11.0 in a bubble and I even think he broke 10s...He claims he was running a stock bottom end...I know he put down 403 whp on a stock gsr bottom...May be true considering the motor only lasted a few passes...

man, i was thinkin somebody died or something...
my friend ran a 125 shot of nitrous(I know its not a turbo... ) on his stock gsr. pulled 12.8 in the quarter I beilieve. gsr blocks seem to be pretty damn strong when it comes to forced induction
