Bi-xenon wiring woes. Help me out!
Guys, i'm so confused.
I've got a set of denji projectors, with Hella bi-xenon projectors retrod in. I have NO clue how to wire my hid's up to the new harness i got with the headlamps. heres some picts.
Please help me out if possible!
thanks
where does the connector with the white and brown wire go to? i've got it just hanging there...?
also, heres how i was told to hook the HEADLAMPS harness up to my car. is this correct?
1 - The harness should have one male headlight plug that plugs into the passenger side oem headlight plug.
2 - The harness has two female headlight plugs that plug into the projector headlights.
3 - Each female headlight plug has a black ground wire on it that must be grounded under a bolt or screw that contacts the metal of the car body.
4 - There are two red ground looking wires that extend from the fuses on the harness. They both should be bolted to the (+) terminal on the battery.
5 - The drivers side oem female plug is unused with this installation.
Once done this way, the low beam should make just the outer projector beam illuminate and the high beam will make the hight and low beam illuminate at the same time.
Thanks

The denji's come with that relay and harness in the third pic. You can toss it if it's troubling you. All it does is kill the low beams when the high beams come on. (at least the ones I bought in 96 were that way)

I'm almost positive that it's exactly the opposite. The harness that comes with the denji's allows you to run the high's and low's at the same time. So if you want to run both at the same time you are going to have to use that harness. I don't see what the problem is because the harness is pretty simple. Hook up the power and the ground and connect the passenger side OEM connector to the three wire Denji connector and the two blue and white connectors to your headlights. The driver side OEM connector is discarded.

Sorry Trey I misread that, I thought you meant that the harness was used to kill the lowbeams when the highs come on.

I have a spare harness downstairs, I'm going to see what that brown and white wire is, it looks unfamiliar to me.

No, there is nothing hard about hooking up the wiring harness. I was just curiuos what that T connector is for? as of now, its just sitting there.
My MAIN question is, how do i hook up the bi-xenon projectors!!!
thanks

you have a problem man, just like I suspected. My harness has that grey and brown plug capped off with a blue cap. I'll post a pic, give me a sec.

I'n not real familiar with the bixenon projectors. What type of plug comes out of them? Or is it just wires? I'm sure I can help you out. Are the projectors full replacements for the denji projector lenses?

If you need more picts i can surely get them. Have you looked at the last two picts i posted (in my first post)?? If those arent clear enough, i donno what will be.
The hella bi-xenons were supposedly the same width (lens) as the denji halogen projectors. So i decided to go this route, mainly because of that, and that they had clear lenses.
THanks

You know what?? I bet it disengages the option of having both high and low at the same time. It has like a quick disconnect tab on it. I'm going to guess that it's just a simple jumper, but I dont want to steer you wrong. It has a symbol on it like this...
______

Any electronics guys have an idea what that symbol is?

The've got separate ignitors (the black little box).
A harness plugs into the ballast. it has 4 green wires that go out. 3 plug into the ignitor. the other one, i have no clue where it goes.
It also has a brown and yellow wire coming out of the harness from the ballast that i have no clue where they go as well...

well, when i'm on low beam and switch to high beam, the sylliniod (spelling) activates the shield so more light comes out. Thus, you still need the low beam (hid) running or else you won't get **** for light (none whatsoever)
RIGHT?
RIGHT?

Do those hellas have both a low beam and a high beam? Or are you going to use the denji high beam?

hellas are BI-xenons. meaning the sylliniod moves a shield for the high and low beam in the same projector

Whay dont you just rip the harness right out and wire them to your stock wiring. Thats what I would do.

I'd like to use this harness, because its built to take more abuse.
upon startup of the HIDS, they draw about 2-3 times the amount of power than the stock harness can handle. Thus, i need to keep this harness some how.
