Self tunable uberchip
This allows you to create/save/edit uberchips so you can tune them yourself. Its basiclly a stock rom with boost capabilities added to it, along with a few other useful things like target idle, vtec crossover, rev limiter, full throttle launch, and the ability to disable a sensors/features.
The following ecu's are supported:
P06 (92-95 Civic DX)
P28 (92-95 Civic EX/SI VTEC)
P30 (92-95 Del Sol b16 VTEC)
P72 (94-95 Integra GSR VTEC)
P74 (94 Integra LS/GS/RS)
P75 (95 Integra LS/GS/RS)
PR4 (92-93 Integra LS/GS/RS)
Here are some screenshots of the editor:
My editor costs $200 shipped.
The other things you need (if you dont already have them) are an eprom burner, a chipping kit, and an eeprom.
Batronix.com has an eprom kit (you have to solder it together yourself) for $34.95, or you can buy it from them fully assembled for $62.95. You still need to buy their software which costs $20, and shipping. Pay the extra $7 for the ziff, it is WELL worth it A fully assembled burner with the software is about $100 shipped to the US. http://batronix.com/electronic/e-shop.shtml
ht member hatchblack can sell u everything else you need @ stupidfast.com , you need the 29c256 eeprom, and the chipping kit. It comes out to around $18 shipped I think.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Grand total (apporx): $318 shipped
The cheapest self tunable version of hondata is $1075! ***** s200 with boost, datalogging, rom editor, and eprom burner http://hondata.com/s200.html *****
Thank you for reading this long post

Re: Self tunable uberchip (UberTeg)
*yawn*, more info:
Uberchip allows you to use your stock obd1 ecu to control boost. It retards 1 degree per lbs of boost (adjustible). You can upgrade from my older uberchip for $50 (does not include eprom burner). You just need larger injectors and this setup and u can boost! No check valves, no stupid hacks, no crappy fmu's wiht sky high fuel pressure causing leaky injectors. This can be used to tune your care dead on, just like hondata, but at a fraction of the cost!
edit: i'm open to all trades. I have a 93 Turbo LS teg

That is really freakin' cool.
Any idea when datalogging will be coming out? I might be looking in to picking one of these up within the next few months

Re: Self tunable uberchip (YumVTEC)
Can stupid people like myself with limited knowledge of tuning be capable of using this.
My guess is no, but hopefully you'll surprise me. Also, where would I learn how to use this stuff?
Thanks
