Default Problems with tranny mount for 93 hatch when converting to 5-speed.. Help me out..

Hi, My first post.. Not my first problem

I got a 93 hatch. I swapped in a 5-speed motor and converted to auto. Everything is complete except the tranny mount.. I am using a 5-speed mount. The first time I bolted it up with the mount, the motor sat on an angle.. My local mecahnic told me I need to weld a 1.5" spacer on the mount. Anyways I got the mount for free so I welded a 1.5" spacer on it.. Now the mount does not seem to line up.. Its not lining up horizontally.. Has anybody ever had this problem..
Sorry if I may sound stupid..

Well I am having the problem of the mount being to far back.. the mount needs to be taken up about 1/2 inch to 3/4 an inch forward to the front on the car.. I dunno.. Nobody can give me a 100% answer..

The mount bracket on the frame is different. The manual one is forward and sticks straight out instead of up. the part is available from dealers and must be welded on.

Thanks for the help..

So either

a.custom make a motor mount
b. drill out the mount on the auto frame and weld on a 5 speed bracket..
