Just A Few Dyno Runs FYI
THESE ARE ALL UNTUNED with a CompTech CAI on a stock ITR. All runs were made on the same dyno and day.
Run 2 (Green): JDM 4-1/94006 Carsound Cat/2.5" Exhaust
Run 5 (Red): JDM 4-1/94006 Carsound Cat/Stock Exhaust
Run 7 (Blue): Stock Header/Stock Cat/Stock Exhaust
Some hp/lb-ft numbers at different rpms
6000 7000 8000
Run2 137.0/120.0 161.8/121.4 171.9/112.9
Run5 134.7/117.9 159.6/119.8 168.9/110.9
Run7 131.9/115.5 156.6/117.5 162.9/107.0
Shhhhhhhhh... no one tell RR98ITR about this thread.
SMSP, Who hopes Scott has a little sense of humor left after these past few days.

Re: Just A Few Dyno Runs FYI (baonest)
Yup your DC JDM 4-1/Stock exhaust is pretty dang close to what I got with my DC JDM 4-1/Comptech exhaust. Good stuff doing a comparison of the stock exhaust against a 2.5" exhaust to see what would have happened
Now Dave, where's your header?

I would like to see the same graph with your header on there as well....as I wait to cough up the $$$$$ for one soon.

Good stuff. Thanks Dave.
If anyone is interested, i'll have a few comparison graphs after the dyno next weekend (11/23-24):
1. current setup with stock exhaust vs. fujitsubo rm-01a both with stock ecu.
2. same as above (both exhausts) with kenji's p28
current setup - (j's intake, dc jdm, carsound 94066, 18 deg timing)

I think it'll be an interesting comparsion by itself and compare to Chris' comparo charts.

Re: Just A Few Dyno Runs FYI
Ah so that's not a DC, the curve looks slightly stronger than my car was by a couple hp here and there. Pretty much the same though. Definitely looking forward to seeing a full SMSP system dynoed and maybe tuned.

~10 Peak WHP and ~5 WTQ. Not bad for minor Bolt-Ons.
Also, is this after tuning? Or Straight Bolt-Ons. Even minor Bolts-Ons benefit from tuning on a Dyno.

not bad at all? That is with just CAI?
Dave: did the car come in modified and go back to stock? the numbering of the runs made me curious then I saw Eric mentioned it too..

George: I dislike your new/old title
I still think "British Gent who is the Fizzle" would be better.. even compared to "British Gent who can not spell correctly"
Edit: Maybe just <FONT COLOR="blue">Grandpa </FONT><FONT COLOR="red">:FIZZLE:</FONT>

Re: Just A Few Dyno Runs FYI (SMSP)
Very interesting!!! Especially the (small) difference between stock exhaust and 2.5" exhaust......
