Initial impressions with ACT HDSS clutch/Fidanza flywheel/HP+ pads
Alright, to start off, My father and I pulled an all weekend-er and put in the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, transmission, axles, blah blah blah, and also Hawk HP+ pads. Overall, installation went smoothly and was relatively painless. So, on to what I think ^_^
Act HDSS clutch: When I first got in the car to push it down, it felt wierd, but that's because I've been driving an Amigo for 2.5 weeks. It was stiff, no doubt about that, but it was not too stiff. So, I started the car, and took it out for a spin. I almost stalled a couple of times, but other than that, the clutch grabs like a champ ^_^ Still, going on this first ride, I shifted from 1st to 2nd at 3000 rpms, but let the clutch out a little too fast, and chirped the tires That never happened before. So, as the night went on, I got used to it, and I'm very impressed. I give this clutch
Fidanza 7 pound flywheel: When I first got it, "Dayam!!" is the word that came to mind. It was freaking light compared to the stock flywheel. As I was putting it on and torqueing it to spec, I was a little worried because it was aluminum, but oh well So, after I came back from the ride, I was in the driveway and just revved it a little. It revved so effortlessly. It was great ^_^ I have yet to test full acceleration with it, because of clutch breaking-in procedures, but in 500 miles, I'll be back to tell all about it. I give the flywheel
Hawk HP+ pads: I had gotten these before "the incident" and hadn't gotten time to put them on, but I did today ^_^ So, I was doing the 30-5 mph stops, and I really didn't notice a difference from stock. When I did the first 40-0 hard stop, the cold bite was amazing and that's when I knew that they were a lot better than stock. They stop the car soooo well I don't even know how to describe it besides "Holy SH*T!!" It stops on a dime now ^_^ I couldn't be happier. HP+ pads are incredible
Sorry to have such a long post, but I'm just so excited ^_^ I can't wait until tomorrow to drive the car again ^_^ I would like to thank Newgsrdriver again , and also Colletti Motorsports.
Cliffs notes: HDSS clutch rocks, Fidanza Flywheel is incredible, and HP+ pads are freaking amazing ^_^

So many of us always recommend this combo, and I swear people still bring up the myth of "aluminum flywheels being...oh goodness...way too light!"
Glad to see youre enjoying it man

Oh, about the HP+ pads, I've heard many people complaining about them squeaking, but I haven't heard them squeak yet. Will it be happening later on?

Man you make me want to change out my clutch and flywheel now! Is it normal for people to upgrade their clutch even though its not yet worn? I need an excuse to get a flywheel.
Nice review man Do you know of a good place to get these for the best prices?
