Volt meter for A/F testing
has anyone on this board ever done this before i have heard of a few people doing it and they say it is great but that was a while back..
if you use this or have used this could you tell me some readings:like more volt=rich
less volt=lean

You can do it but you'll have the same problem as anyone using a narrowband to read A/F, you can only tell rich or lean but not how rich or how lean. The reason is that the o2 sensor response is highly nonlinear once you get out of the 14.7-ish A/F range.
But if you want to try it, 0.50 volts is stoich, 0.1-0.49 volts is lean, 0.51-1.0 volts is rich. Also in closed loop operation your voltmeter is going to swing around wildly.
