I talked to WP today, he stated that there will be classes like a survival series, it's not 100% set in stone. I do know that there will at least be a sfwd class, all motor street class and quick 16.

If this turns out to be like Q16 last year you better be able to run mid to low 9's.

You can run quick 16, if you don't qualify, you can run regular brackets. You will be allowed to race.

If you going to try quick 16 you better run 8's. The quick 16 will have mostly Modified cars and PRo RWD cars.

If its Q16 class or brackets who the hell cares what shifter he has? And who the hell are you anyway? Its none of your business.

Do you think they'll let me use my qualifying passes to get my license? My track sucks and only has street tire nights left for the rest of the year.

Check with the $10k race thread, and E-town , about the license.

I was allowed to make license passes during qualifying for the NHRA fall nationals at e-town a few years back. They were very accommodating about it.

as long you run over 135mph you can get it but your runs have to be solo and say L for lic. on the slips..
i got mine without hitting the 9's..

it seems like you guys can read..this is from the rule book!!!!!
Transmissions
FWD - Any transmission allowed. Manufacturer of transmission must match
manufacturer of engine as to not be assessed an additional weight penalty. Standard
transmissions must retain factory H-pattern. Standard transmissions must also allow
downshifting. Air shifters are illegal. Vertical-shift-gate and aftermarket-sequential
transmissions are subject to a weight penalty.
