The car is super comfortable to drive and gets plenty of attention. 2 problems with the car.. problem one is the rear passenger strut is making a popping noise.. took it to the Toyota dealer and had them inspect and they informed me I need a new strut and strut cap.. Has been this way for about 2.5 weeks planned on just buying Tein suspension. I think Advance Auto can get the strut for approx $100.
Problem 2 is kind of mysterious but I think I have it narrowed down. its either the MAF, which I am testing a new one on the car this week, or its the electric motor that controls the throttle butterfly. I have replaced both TPS's on the car and checked both bank1 CATS. The only thing left it could be is either the MAF or that electric motor. Its important to note that ****if I get the car fixed the price will go up. The current price is for the car as is now****. I am just getting tired of messing with it and found some other cars I am interested in.
As it stands right now sometimes the car will throw a CEL and VSC (vehicle traction control) lights and the only throttle response you have is the backup throttle cable.. car still drives normal while this is happening but shifts hard. Was going to get this fixed with my stimulus check but my loss is your gain.. Call me if you have any questions (serious buyers only please) 270.670.7050
