2009 / 2010 NSX spotted
Car seems smaller than the previous NSX. Rear looks very massive with four square exhaust pipes.
Kind of reminds the new Lexus LF-A.

Re: 2009 / 2010 NSX spotted (Andrus)
Was just going to post this - good job. It's smaller, overall, than I expected and very close to the same shape as the Advanced Sports Concept (or whatever it's called).
Autoblog has a little bit more text: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/0...reets/
Still underwhelmed though. Wonder if first gen NSX prices will go up now?

Honda has finally begun testing pre-production prototypes of its 2010 Acura NSX, as evidenced by ten high-resolution spy photos snapped in Germany. Up until now, the we’ve only seen crude test mules made with body panels from the S2000. Based on this lightly-cladded prototype, it appears some aspects of the controversial Advanced Sports Car Concept will be included, while some of the more awkward design elements have been changed.
The new NSX, which has been delayed repeatedly, is expected to incorporate a front-mounted, 550 hp V10 engine and a new high-performance, rear-wheel-drive based version of Acura’s ‘Super Handling All-Wheel Drive’ (SH-AWD). A similar RWD/AWD system is also expected for the 2011 Acura RL.
Honda showed its Advanced Sports Car Concept at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show, a preview of the next-generation NSX, but failed to deliver a production version — as Honda said it would — at the 2007 Tokyo show.
According to Dick Colliver, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co., the delay has been because designers couldn’t agree on the NSX’s styling. “All of the designers are working together on the NSX, but they can’t agree on the styling,” he said in January this year.
American Honda President and CEO Tetsuo Iwamura recently confirmed the NSX will be launched in the U.S. in 2010. Honda will also be launching the Acura brand in Japan and Europe around the same time, but the automaker says it will launch the NSX in the U.S. market first. </TD></TR></TABLE>

To me, it's got a lot of 350Z to it. Unless the 20" wheels are making the car appear smaller, the ASCC was much bigger. If that's a V10 in there, it's a small V10.
And it looks like a new ZR1 is giving chase to it in one of the pics. Could bode well if that's the comparo mule.

Pretty cool. 7:37 is a great start and much better than the previous NSX-R. Surely, they can shave a couple of seconds by eliminating all of the camo and body cladding.
Underwhelming instrument cluster so far. Granted, there's nothing to determine as far as instrument features. I'm hoping for something remarkable.
I wonder how the cluster compares with the rest of the newer Acura line?

2011 Acura NSX: Timed Hot Lap on the Nurburging
"NURBURG, Germany — Earlier this week Inside Line reported Honda CEO Takeo Fukui's bold demand that the 2011 Acura NSX must be faster around the Nürburgring than the Nissan GT-R and future Lexus LF-A, and now spy photographers have managed to time the latest NSX prototype during test laps around the 'Ring.
With one shooter manning a handheld stopwatch, KGP Photography reports the NSX is closing in on the GT-R's 7:29 hot lap, registering a 7:37 lap around the Nordschleife.
Eight seconds off the GT-R's best time isn't bad considering this is the NSX's first known visit to the Nürburgring in full production form.
Spy photographers also managed to peek inside the future NSX's cockpit, revealing part of the Acura's dash instrumentation and paddle shifters.
What this means to you: The race to unseat the GT-R as the fastest car on the 'Ring is now in full swing. — Kelly Toepke, News Editor"

Sounds awesome...esp for a stock car. </TD></TR></TABLE>
sounds almost as good as Ojas' car with the ricer exhaust. I think they need more aero-work tho. front end seems lifting on the straights!
