Default hardeh2's 2008 CRX Build - finally in progress!

Finally after a year after selling my eh2, I got some time to work on my real project, my CRX. I picked it up for $250 in MD and hopefully, will turn this thing around! pics of the progress

OUT WITH THE OLD!


IN WITH THE NEW HOTNESS
this is what it looked like when i bought it.









Parted out my old rex, sold it as a shell and through these pieces into the project







While I was piecing all the parts together and, I dropped the car off for some paint love me some rio red. Don't mind the white specks, I'm currently in the process of buffing out some of the orange peel. I didn't really mind the peel, i need to learn how to buff.













More updates to come on the motor and everything else

ordered some new door and window trim from majestic and I think it should be in tomorrow! I think I'm going to paint the trim on my bumpers and get out all of the scratches and dings with some plastic epoxy. Heres what it looks like so far.



Oh, and this was the d16 that came out of this *****. Look like shiittt

damn almost kinda steep there 2 bill Where you get/order them from I might need me a set..maybe moldings too? Does it come together or separate? LMK man...more update plz!

BTW been looking around and the rio red looks nice man I want to repaint mine as well thinking for sure rio red...is it all that bright or not really? Looks RED RED, or RED/malino red &lt;--sp ?? Cuz already have a coupe that is malino red looks great I mean in pictures and person but starting to look pink and I want to keep the REX the same color (it's red ) vs changing the color and having a diff. engine bay color which would cost more for complete paint if change over

yeah man, thats the same thing I went through. The reason why the color fades on honda's is because they use shitty clear. All of the paint applications on this were PPG. The reason why the moldings were 2 bills was because I had gotten new weather strip along with all of the clips. Stay Tuned.

ninja edit: I ordered the moldings from majestic.
