Look at Lorenzo! But more surprisingly look at Edwards!! Pneumatic valves FTW!
EDIT: I don't know if Tech3 has pneumatic valves yet. New chassis and swingarm tho.

i think melandri is having growing pains on the duc, plus you know him: one second he's fast enough to lap the field, the next second he's dropping from 2nd to 9th.
he's streaky, but i guess he's race-to-race streaky. i think it'll be feast or famine with marco this year. he'll put some pressure on stoner though--and if he doesn't, you know the rabid duckertestes will!
"omgwtfbbq italian rider on a ducati!!!"

Rest assured that Stoner will always be fighting for the lead this season too. But now we've got a grid full of hopefuls with power and grip to match the Ducs. Skill wise, Stoner's pretty flawless but then again, there really wasn't much pressure with anyone riding his tail.

If only they were broadcast on Speed without commercials!! Can't stand it when someone is lining up a pass and they cut to ads. Because, y'know, I care about motorcycle gremlins.

Best way to watch 'em is downloading the European broadcast a day or two later on http://www.racing-underground.com
They've got all the pre-race stuff as well as all the celebration and victory speeches.
Too bad that site can't remember a freaking password if it's life depended on it!
Have to ask to retrieve my password everytime.
The hardest thing for me is to wait for it to pop up on R-U and avoiding all GP news for a couple of days.

I always read up to see who won before watching the race. But that's probably due to last season's lack of suspense.

Last year, I waited all thru Sunday, then at work monday, I avoided all GP news and at the end of the day, just when I'm about to split to go watch it off the net, my co-worker goes, "Did you watch MotoGP? Casey won again."
Although I should've seen it coming.

Yeah normally watch the races on speed. I just record them all so I don't miss them. I'm thinking about this year getting the high resolution package on motogp.com. Does anyone here have that? Can't seem to find the price on the motogp website.

Re: OFFICIAL - 2008 MotoGP Thread (backlash)
i think with Dani being injured now, and HRC spending all their time developing the bike with Nicky, hes gonna get the championship again. IMO Nicky is the best rider during races. this might sound a bit retarded, but he was never known for his qualifying laps! he makes up for it all during the starts and the race

don't get me wrong, i love nicky, but all last year he put down some scorching Q-laps and dropped like a rock at race start. granted, i know alot of that has to do with the fronch being able to make a suitable Q-tire, but a shitty race tire in 07, but i think there are times when nicky isn't aggressive enough.
still i think he's got good racecraft and makes do with the equipment he's given, as well as anyone else in the grid.
