i bought this kit from kit88 and here are the problems with it that he never mentioned:
1. I noticed the turbine was wet with oil... the seal is blown. Also some oil in the charge pipes - turbo needs to be rebuilt.
2. the downpipe is really smashed up and bolts were stripped. Not like a typical dent, this is really big. The pics he sent me didnt show them.
3. the wastegate actuator was rigged together with a welded bolt. it didnt allow the flapper to even open 50%. This caused really bad boost creep.
4. Missing bolts and gaskets - all 3 gaskets for the downpipe were gone
6. Torn couplers, missing clamps
7. The manifold had a EGT welded in. not the bung... the EGT itself was welded to the manifold. I had to cut it off, retap it and plug it.
8. Air filter is all smashed up. You know when you twist a k&n and it messes it all up. It looks like ****.
9. The oil line wasnt included, which I specifically asked for.
pretty much everything is junk, and im out $800. I pieced everything missing together and my car is boosted but now it eats oil. im not taking the whole kit back off to send it back, im just going to buy a wrx turbo and be done.
