This vehicle is a 2000 Acura Integra Type-R. The badge number is #748. The color is Phoenix Yellow. As you can see, the vehicle has been modified with tasteful modifications. I am the second owner. The vehicle was purchased from my friend in California on November 2005.

I am not afraid to be honest about the vehicle. A lot of meticulous work has been put into the vehicle previously and with myself. The vehicle was formerly turbo. However, it was returned back to naturally aspirated. The block was machined by the same people who do T1 Race Development’s machine work. It was assembled by a professional. All tolerances were plasti-gauged. All tolerances are within Honda range. The vehicle was previously tracked by its original owner, but not with me. I did have intentions to do so but never had time to do it.

For the people who have never owned an ITR, its not how you have driven it, its how the vehicle was taken care of.

This car does not need any work what so ever. Its ready to be driven daily or tracked.

Here is my modification list.

OEM JDM HID front end conversion - entire core support was changed out, the original paint job was done by M.O.B in Southern California, the bumper cover was punctured by a truck but was repaired, front bumper cover has been resprayed

Break In Process

There are different theories how to break-in a new engine.

The following is how I broke-in the engine. Between mileage intervals, the vehicle was driven normally, but rarely brought into VTEC under 100%

Before startup, I primed the vehicle with oil pressure by disconnecting the main relay and distributor. At initial startup, I kept the RPM’s at 3000rpm until vehicle achieved normal operating temperature. I shut the vehicle down. Changed the oil and filter. I changed the oil and filter at 25 miles, 50 miles, 100 miles, 250 miles, 500 miles, and 1000 miles. The car does not burn oil. I use Castrol GTX 5w30 with Honda filters. On my previous track car, Mobil 1 Synthetic burned, Castrol GTX never did! I know many Honda Challenge/NASA contestants who use Castrol GTX as opposed to Mobil 1 Synthetic.

Everything is in good condition. Power steering also works as well. No a/c (the car didnt come with it from the factory). It was professionally dyno @ a local shop @ 205 whp and 147 wtq. There is more potential but I opted for the dc and 2.5 piping due to noise and police.

There's probably a few things im missing but thats the bulk of it. I am in no desperate need to sell this car as I have a company car, but I would like a down payment for a house. As of now, I just have pictures from HIN that locals took, but I will have more soon. Im looking for $19k as is or the price can be negotiated with parts being taken off.

I am thinking about selling my itr. I only have a couple of pics at the moment, but if some one shows serious interest I will take more. The car is a theft recovery and indeed in fact number 1. Yea I am sure people are going to talk **** and say prove it. The armrest along with everything else was takin of this car. I bought it rebuilt it and ended up spending more than I anticipated doing it. there are a few weak points still on the car, as far as power train, I have a slightly modded gsr with b16a tranny, the cars runs very good. The car is sitting on adjustable spoon shocks with GC coilovers. It has an apexi N1 exhaust on it and a few other things here and there. The interior is pretty much converted all the way back, the only thing non-itr is the front seats.
11,500obo I am a little negotiable on the price but if I don't get a fair amount I will just keep it. thanks for looking

Reason why it has a JDM motor:
I could have gotten the original motor (it was sleeved and turbo'd) and rebuilt it but most people, including myself, would rather have a stock ITR motor put together by Honda rather than something built by Joe Blow in his garage. I could have saved some money and gotten a 96 spec motor with a lot of miles, but I spent more to get a 98 Spec motor with lower mileage. The average person probably wouldn't know the difference, but if i was going to do it I was going to do it right. The JDM 4-1 Header and 4.7 final drive seemed to be an upgrade over the stock USDM ITR.












Not sure what it's worth so &lt;FONT SIZE=""5""&gt;&lt;FONT COLOR=""Red""&gt;$15,500 obo&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt; is the starting point.

Comes with nothing under the hood. You need an engine assembly, mounts, axles, linkage, and halfshaft.

I bought this car about two years ago. The only reason I bought it is because the title was clear and I was able to register with no problems in New York State. The stock motor/tranny was missing because the old owner said he missed a gear and blew the motor and tranny simultaneously. So I put a big turbo setup in the car. Rather than trying to sell it with the turbo setup I took it out and sold it piece by piece. I'm now left with the shell. Hate to see it go but there I have no time to bring it back to life right now. Maybe I will buy another one in the future though.

Needs a paintjob obviously, and some love and care lol. Price is $6500 or $7000 shipped anywhere in the country except Alaska and Hawaii.

I am in the New York City area and location will be disclosed if you are seriously interested.

* Up for sale we have a one of a kind Custom Blue 1998 Acura Integra Type-R powered by a DC-5 K20A Type-R motor.
* This car was purchased as a shell and built from the ground up.
* I have documented pictures of the build from start to finish.
* Car was originally Championship White and was painted blue approximately a year ago. All windows were removed and everything that could be unbolted was removed to paint the car the right way.
* Car has a salvaged title due to theft.
* Chassis has approximately 43,000+ miles on it.
* I am selling this car because I am in need of a good daily driver.
* Car will be featured in a future issue of Honda Tuning Magazine.
* If there are any questions you may have, you can contact me through my e-mail. Serious inquires only! I will not answer simple/pointless questions.
* This car is an authentic Acura Integra Type-R! VIN and pictures will confirm! Those who are not knowledgable of Type-Rs, please don't not e-mail or message me asking if it is real or not.


Condition:

* Car is always garage kept and was mostly driven on the weekends.
* Motor pulls hard and strong! It was tested at a local dragstrip and ran a 13.4 on Toyo RA-1s! This was achieved on only a basic Hondata DC-5 K20A Type-R Program. With proper tuning and a set of slicks, this car is very capable of high 12 second quarter mile times!!!
* There are two small dings on the driver side door.
* There are some chips and scratches on the front bumper and lip from normal street driving.
* The carbon fiber hood has some noticable scratches throughout the entire hood. Their are light and some deep scratches. May be buffed out or the clear can be sanded and recoated.
* There are some chips of paint along the edges of both doors.
* The firewall has some chips of paint where the VIN is because of a little run in with a police officer. He had thought the car was stolen because there was no VIN number on the firewall. There is no VIN because the people who stole the car originally had completely damaged the VIN. My body shop repaired and painted over that area. Anyway, the officer went ahead and scraped off the paint covering the VIN to see if there was any bondo to cover it up but he was proven wrong when he couldn't find any evidence. My car is blue tagged by CHP yet still the officer persisted to ruin my firewall!
* The left rear rim has some curbage on two locations.
* Only the rear section of the cage is bolted down. The rest of the plates and hardware will be included.

-driver seat has some slight wear marks on the bottom cushion.
-rear seat has slight sun damage on the upper portion.
-rear hatch lock can only be open with the key.

This is the best running Honda I have ever owned, and I just wish it will go to someone who appreciates the condition it's in. I have every service record on the car up till when I bought it. Whoever buys this car will not be disappointed.

This car has a rebuilt title. I bought it with a rebuilt title assuming it was clean 3 years ago. I belive it was hit in the right front, It pulls to the right may need lined up?. Im going to see what it will take to get this fixed. Also someone hit me lightly in the left rear, still has a mark on it and the paint is flaking alittle. I rear ended someone last year and had the front change to a JDM. Theres 2 small door dings on the passenger side. The drivers side skirt has spots where there paint flaking off from the work that was done to the front.

The engine was rebuilt completely by myself. Im a auto mechanic and have 7 ASE. This was my first honda. Its runs very well, I belive it need tuneds as the chip was for the stock engine.

I've lost intrest in the whole tuner scene. I love this car but Im at the point in my life where I gotta get rid of some toys. Im asking $9,500 for the car but will consider offers.
