Innovative 88-91 D Series mounts are now available!!
The detailed pics are on page 2
After aalmost a year talking with them about production I have the 1st set of the 88-91 Civic/CRX D series production Innovative mounts. These are the replacement mounts with the optional grade inserts.
I will have better pics this evening with the good phone.
(my set has the stiffer insert)
They are not listed on the Innovative site yet but I can and will be carrying these as well
A write up with install will be added to this when the new block goes into the CRX within the next few weeks

Right now I beleive so. This is the 1st set out of the 1st batch of powdercoat so I'd only assume they were all black like the other steel mounts.
The list is $199 per set.

Looks just like stock.. ..only with inserts. No bling?
Why will people buy those instead on OEM and inserts?

It is a solid mount and the inserts can be selected for stiffness. The better pics (to come) will really show the quality of the pieces. They aren't doing them in billet yet.

3 are included. The 4th front torque mount is available but works with the Innovative front crossmember, no the stock crossmember. I will have all 4 on my car.

Don't shoot me,
Is this in responce to the HAsport D-series mounts?...They have them in like three "flavors/stiffness" I would much rather rock yours b/c they are cheaper and I don't need the bling. I just need a D15B7 to quit moving so stinkin much.
On to my questions...
You have a fourth front mount, but it only works on your cross member right?
What are the grades of the poly they are filled with?
What is recommended for a DD all motor car?
Thanks for putting up with me

No
Many here know (or may know) I made mention of these being in the works almost a year ago when no company had any available at all (talked about it in my build thread). They were always in the works or got put on the backburner, but either way I still got the 1st set as promised and they are available. It just so happened in that year 2 other people have released them. Avid also contacted me and talked about doing the same so I'm sure they'll be next.
I do have the 4th mount that mounts to the Innovative crossmember. I had that aded first because I was still getting alot of movement even with the inserts and no front mount.
The bushing specs per Innovative ...
The 60A Red bushings are recommended for street cars. Most of our kits come standard with these bushings. They provide the least amout of vibration transfered from the engine to the chasis. This equates to a more comfortable everyday ride.
Our 75A Black bushings come standard on all H/F - Series engines. These engines weigh more and need a stronger bushing. We recommend 75A for street and track vehicles that make more than average horsepower. This rating of bushing is also for those that would like a stiffer feel and less engine flex.
Lastly, we provide 85A Grey bushings designed specifically for race cars or drivers that seek a solid engine mount kit
Mine are the 85As...good goood good, good vibrations ...but NO mvement
DD, would be the red inserts

I'll probably go ahead and install the Tranny and rear mount since the tranny is still in the car.

I would say it depends on what your definition of "tolerable" is. Alot of people think the regular poly inserts are not tolerable...which feel like "nothing" to me.
I'm sure they are tolerable, but I'd count on having a nice solid idle "massage chair" like vibration.

Depends on how loose your dash is now. I'm sure it's not that bad.

Oh I see,
I had the little ES inserts in an older 1990 DX Hatch, and man it shook to much for me so some guys in our garage said I should remove the front one but keep the rear and it helped a bunch. I like my A/C and use it often, but in stop and go traffic you find yourself revving the engine a bunch as to not let the idle get low enough to start vibrating everything...lol...I am thinking I could run your three pieces and use a stock front...
