**Testing Waters: '00 EBP si, gsr swap, 2nd built motor, password, recaros, rotas, tein, etc - GA**
SALE/TRADE PENDING FOR AN '01 S2000...
So, I am going through a bit of a personal ordeal in my life, and when I do this, I usually decide it's time for a change. As a result, I usually change my hair, my waredrobe, my eating habits, and strangely enough, my car.
Let's start this off by saying I am NOT IN A RUSH TO SELL OR TRADE! I love my car. I have since the day I got her, and I will continue to dump more money into the car if I decide to keep it.
PLEASE DO NOT LOWBALL ME OR ATTACK MY IDEAS OR PRICES ON THIS THREAD. DOING SO DOES NO ONE ANY GOOD, AND IT SIMPLY CLUTTERS THIS THREAD WITH USELESS TALK.
Let's just keep this thread fun an civilized.
Feel free to pm me if you don't like what I say, what I am asking, or what I have done to the car.
I am throwing this out there just to see what kind of interest people might have in the car. It is a great car, my daily, and has given me almost zero problems since its first trip home...
... I would almost rather trade than sell, and I have recently been bit by the rsx-s and s2000 bug. So, those are the main things that I am interested in trading for. Obviously, it would include some cash on my side... depending on the car. If you have something that you want to show me, go for it.
Otherwise, I am going to aim high and say that I would like to get $11.5 obo for the car as it sits, or $14K with both motors. I dunno if that is completely ridiculous or not, but I know that I have so much invested in this car that it is stupid. haha.
On to the car:
CAR:
'00 Honda Civic Si (clean title, and no lein.... title in hand)
EBP ext, drk grey int
100,xxx on chassis
~ 86,xxx on current motor
MOTOR:
97 GSR (B18c1) swap w/tranny
skunk2 pro series intake manifold (not installed yet)
Password JDM carbon fiber power chamber intake
new rear main seal, cam seal, valve cover seal/grommits
2.5" cat back exhaust (canister style = N1 style)
boomslang obd2b-->obd1 harness and phearable.net chipped ecu
SUSPENSION:
Tein "S" springs w/stock struts.
Skunk2 Pro series hard anodized rear lca's
Benen rear lower tie bar (not installed)
Spacers in frong and rear for camber (no uneven wear problems)
WHEELS/BRAKES:
16" Rota J.Spl wheels (black w/polished lip... rare color)
205/45R16 maxxis ma-z1 tires (less than 2K miles)
Factory rotors with factory honda pads all around
(car is going in monday, jul2nd, for new front pads and rotor resurfacing)
INTERIOR:
dual guage pod w/ autometer a/f and boost (both wired for lights, but that is all)
MOMO corse red stitch wheel w/ momo hub and nsx rep. horn button
(i think I still have the factory wheel somewhere)
Skunk2 dual bend short throw shifter w/ skunk2 weighted shift ****.
Hard-race solid poly shifter bushings *super stiff*)
ctr shift boot (black w/red stitch)
NEVER been smoked in...
EXTERIOR:
OEM rear deck spoiler
OEM ctr front lip
type r "style" rear lip
removed rubber outter-fender trim
Password JDM yellow fogs (not installed yet)

jvc cd player
infinity gold series speakers
python alarm w/long distance paging option and remote start
NON-SMOKING CAR.
Car currently has no p/s, but I have everything needed, and it can/will be included in the sale of the car.
The car does have all of the a/c components there, however, the current compressor has a short and sometimes will not engage. So, I have a second compressor that came off of my friend's car when he went turbo. It will be included.

not that it matters that much, but I also have another valve cover cut for cam gears and painted spoon yellow with a black rising sun pattern on it.

I contacted him about the is, but I think he was confused and thought I was offering him a built gsr... not a gsr swapped em1 and an additional built motor.

SUPER nice example of a well-put-together eg... I've already had two eg's and loved them, but I am not looking to get back into that chassis at this time.
