Yes it cleaned up the streeting alot. But as you can see mine were way overdue.

I don't understand the necessity of removing the damper fork bolt and the strut bolt at the top?
I know on my 88 4WS all I have to do is unbolt the Upper Ball Joint from the UCA ( still leaving it attach ed to the spindle) and the outer tie-rod from the spindle and pop the lower ball joint and it gives you enough to take the spindle off.

If you don't, the pressure from the spring and shock will not allow you to pull the joint out from the control arm.
