the point of using these rod bolts is to upgrade from the stock LS rod bolts because they are the same as D-series rod bolts, thus not being strong enough to handle 8000 rpms on a consistent basis.
you will need to have the journals (big end) re-sized at a machine shop for these bolts, but that is pretty much mandatory if you're gonna use LS rods w/ a lsvtec of b20vtec set-up.
