Default R33 Taillight conversion

Anyone got any clue how much an R33 tail light conversion would cost on my 92 Prelude Si? Any people who have the conversion did, or plan on it and have info, please help me out here. That Conversion Look Sooooo Sick on a Lude!!!!

Plus I already have brand new R33 tail lights still in the pack....

i always wonder why ppl ask these questions? do they just want an average for the labor?

"how much is it going to cost to replace/redo/fab ________?"

well since you aren't doing it yourself.......shouldn't you consider the place you are taking it? we may say one thing and the place you take it to will say another. then what are you gonna do? go tell them that the ppl on HT said "it cost me xxxx amount!!!"

then maybe you go to another place and get the same crap.

I paid well over 5 grand for my conversion. Not every body shop charges the same, takes the same amount of time to work, nor has the same craftsmanship. Shop around and get quotes.

If you can find a shop willing to even attempt it, it'll cost you alot.

Not that I feel like I have to justify any of my mods to you guys, but for the record...I didn't convert it to look like a skyline. I converted it because I hate the OEM tails on the 4th gen. It just happens that the skyline lights suit the lines of the car when done properly.

I don't live in the states...5 grand US and CAN isn't the same. Open your eyes man. Either way, have you even been to a body shop to get a really good professional paint job done? It's usually 4-5 grand alone. Seems to me like you're just talking out of your *** cuz I did a conversion you don't like.

How about you post a full size picture so we can see what you paid $5k for. I'd like to see it, seriously, from the avatar pic, it doesn't look bad.
