Not quite, BodyKitsNW sells K-Sport, the former owner of BodyKitsNW sold that business and started AMR. Both are now available with custom rates, but Andy from AMR sorta got that train rolling (in that specific price and style category, I know GC has done it for forever now).

I had 9k/7k AMRs on my 97 RS and they rode WAY better than I would have thought. Even took my car on a 30+ hour drive from Winnipeg to Montreal. Car rode like a dream and was definitively *fun* to drive. Either way you'll end up with a nicely performing set of coilovers for the price. The car's handling was amazing for the price of the suspension. Mine was pretty dumped too. Enjoy!

so whats the verdict? go with Ksport for the cheap price and rock them or AMR which is about $225 for lifetime warranty. this is tough. will the Ksports really last or will have to bite the bullet and pay up for the AMR?

this is my same question, how long is everyone's ksports holding up? they are well priced from jlb motor sports and have heard good reviews.

That may be true, but Andy has never gone out of business, and I do not think his family would let him LOL. This is his life guys. I doubt he is going anywhere, his mom would probably kick his ***. He's been a member and a business owner for a very long time. Any company can leave and go, no matter what. But this is his bread and butter and what he loves to do. His parents are great people to talk to, and are great in business. You have nothing to worry about. And if you have noticed, Andy has only been going up. Always improving his product and moving forward to offer you guys something great.

Re: (slowsol95)
Well..I guess i really can Compare the two now since i actually have amr on my db8 and my friend has k-sports on he's db8..I have my shocks set at the softest so it's a bite bouncy, but i'm sure when i stiff it up, it'll ride alot better...I can tell that the spring rates i got is very stiff..8k6k...Is there any way of checkin what spring rate you got on the spring itself?

I bought Ksports and I am about to install them, I couldn't seem to talk myself into the AMR because they are very new and ksports have been around for long enough to work out the kinks

Re: (pythoner)
The thing is..i dont think there's enough people with AMR to speak on them..cause they are still new as a company...i would say give them a little bit more time...and we'll see how it turns out...from what i've felt..i think the AMR are more stiff ride then my buddie's ksports...reminder it's the same type of car that i'm comparing this from..and about the same drop..
