Default port and polish

is port and polishing the head really worth it, or is it a waste of time and money?

i just had a port and polish head put on mayB about a month ago, and ive seen a good amount of increase in power. I have a B18b swap in my ek. Before i could not keep up with my cousins Prelude SH (h22a4) and after i broke the motor in for awhile, we raced and i beat him about a car or a car and a half, so i think that a Port and Polish is worth it. but many people have different opinions, and this is mine.

depends on who does the job. the port is easy to make flow poorly in the hands of a fool. a good port job specific to its application...and properly setup and tuned is where its at. This is usually the difference between the guys making big power and the ones just running average.

Remember, most of the power is in the intake-head-exhaust.
