My 2JZ S2000, from 50/50 racing!
Hey, this is Brian with the 2jz s2000, i like to hear you guy's feedback, were at 741whp now, and using the 300 zx non-turbo rearend, 1000hp inline pro-axles, EMS, made some changes and the car is running great! Ran a 2005 honda 900RR a couple days ago and stayed with it till 170mph, my front bumper was on his rear tire the whole time from a 30mph roll, i almost ran him over!!! I was at the top of 5th, and never got in 6th gear, we ran into traffic. He was shittin his pants when we were talking at the next red light, he had a power commander and full exaust! Anyway, check out our website for more pics of the yellow 2jz s2000 were a week away from having it on the road, and it will kill my car surely! GT 45 turbo, chevy t400 tranny, built internals, EMS, lots of goodies!! http://www.fiftyfiftyracing.com Ill keep you guys posted on new video of my s2 kickin ***!

Re: My 2JZ S2000, from 50/50 racing! (JG-Fabrications)
See ,there you go, i can take critisism, but this is why i dont chat on forums, after 9 months of planning, and spending over 40k on what the rest of the world thinks is pretty cool, i get on honda tech and within hours some stupid expletive says some childish stupid ****! Wow, why am i not suprised? Anyway the balance of the car was not effected at all, it gained 147 lbs. total weight, and that was equaly distributed from the front to back of the car. This thing handles JUST LIKE it did before the conversion, everybody just assumes its balance is ruined. Well, i drive it everyday, its whips through corners just like it did before, and man it drifts good!!! Just ripping through a corner feathering the throttle drifting effortlessly, there's nothing like it man. But thanks for your 2 cents.

you can't please everyone, I know JG is running boost on his. Some might argue the about swap, some might argue about turbo, some might argue about n2o, etc
but it's all down to the owner, i don't think anyone could judge that.

Great work on the conversion...
I'm curious, what were the biggest modifications to car as far as fitting the entire 2JZ powertrain in? Obviously we're talking banging a few sections in here and there and custom mounts for the motor and tranny; but was there anything major that needed to be completely fabricated such as custom driveshaft or tranny tunnel? Does the stock S2k speedo work?

don't worry bout it dood. as much as i wouldn't do it myself. it's your car and i'd love if the S came with the extra oomph of an I6 as well. people are always going to criticize, always going to have their "elitist" values, talk about spending money, etc. we're all in this... well most of us to go fast and enjoy our cars. however u do it is all up to you. i'd suppose all the civics with k-series swaps are no longer civics anymore. not knocking jg's post either cause i don't think he really attacked you but just saying.

i agree :thumbup your car is sick who cares what people tell you. it's not like you did anything wrong to the car you put a 2JZ in it---thats just crazy. as long as you dont put ferrari conversion taillights and turn the thing into a space ship it's all good with me.

Give me a few days, we got alot of cool video coming out very soon, ill keep you posted, the vids are done, just getting edited and stuff. We have a dash vid in there and you can clearly see it spinning tires, and getting sideways at 134 mph in fifth gear going in a straight line. That one puckered up my butthole!!!

Yeah, the stock speed works, that wasnt fun , getting the temp guage was tricky too, but i figured it out. Its funny, the whole shop floor was COVERED in s2000 and Supra schematics, it was a electrical nightmare wiring the whole 2jz harness to adapt to the honda harnesses, it took lots of late nights, lots of coffee, and me and Mike arguing back and forth, we almost killed eachother!! As far as the fitting the engine and trans in there, yeah, we had to cut, drill, weld, fabricate our own mounts, re-locate the EPS, but now we got it down, were working on our third one now, some guys from S. Carolina, they had a fast s2000, you can see thier vids on streetfire. But now they're going for the 1/4 mile records. Hoping for mid 8's.
